Paula snapped the diary close and turned to Jenna.

"What?" Asked Jenna. "Are you not having fun?"

"You are not bored, are you?"

"No, of course not. I am loving it. I think it's the real thoughts of a real life person from our planet. I mean they are from India, having a vacation in Mexico."

"I do relate with her, you know. She struggled with her parent's approval, and had a hard time getting the past life out of her head. Being a vampire helped me out of it all but I knew that feeling was still within me. Clawing my inner walls." Jenna moved closer to her and embraced her into an awkward side hug. Paula chuckled. "Don't worry. I am fine." She said and they started reading again.

"This is so cozy. I like it."

"So your home sickness eased?"

Surmi and I chatted while we waited for the show to begin, along with eight or so other people in the small, dockyard-like space, under the clear night sky.
