While Paula and Jennaa were reading the life of a stranger on the other side Ervin and Merlin were sitting under a holly tree, moonlight reflecting off their foreheads as the gazed up at the night sky.

"Why can't we just stay here forever?" Ervin said, breaking the silence. Merlin turned to him, "We can, you know."

"What about when we find your father? We have to go back then."

"We can come back. I will ask Heena to arrange it. We can live here forever."

"Do you want to live here with me? Forever?"

"Why not? We can do that if you are up. Won't it be awesome? I have had enough with that vampire life. That was the reason I open the PI agency with Paula in the first place. For a little distraction. Then I met you. And I just couldn't get you out of my head."
