"Yes you people think you can get whatever you wish for, as if we are some miracle pixies. Let me tell you how it feels to be alienated from your own land." He moved closer to them, wiping his face with the rough ragged sleeves of his coat.
Cheron surprised herself by moving forward to stand in between them, holding up a hand and instinctively Janus pushed her to the side. He opened his mouth several times to speak but no words came out. "Look I understand you have been wronged but we can't go back and undo anything so don't do something you might regret." Said Cheron and noticed a sense of recognition in his eyes before it was masked with imperfectly constructed fury. His eyes didn't move away from Janus.
"I should seek revenge. That's just fair, isn't it?" He reached to the back of his pocket and Cheron's heart skipped a beat, Janus said nothing.
"No it's not fair. He was just a child." She said pulling Janus back with her.
