Mary despite her sleepy self, continued. Paula was wide awake.
"It's fine. I am fine." She yelled back and cursed, what looked like a small polished piece of rock. It was yellow in colour and very unique looking, a bright one with partial internal reflection.
"You look nice." She murmured to herself and left with the rock clutched in her hand.
"I like her. She is nice." Janus said, turning to Nova.
"Not more than I do." Nova retorted. "So."
"So?" Nova snapped her head at Janus, eyeing him with questioning glare. "Oh, my apologies. I was going to be doing the talking. I forgot since it's mostly you who—"
"Are you trying to throw me down the guilt pot?" Janus raised his hands in a defensive gesture and laughed. "No, no. Never. However bothered I was with whatever you had said, I do appreciate it now."
"You should not. I was rude and unkind and I thought of nothing but blamed you for everything."
