Paula was confused, very very confused. She always had a thing against cliffhangers but this one was blowing her brain.
As she tossed and turned on her mattress inside her camping tent, she wondered what was Mary's purpose of keeping them awake and telling a story with no ending. How can this be helpful to her? How can she story help her what she needs? And what exactly does she need? All these questions keep racing past her mind all night until it scammed to the day's weight and night's stress. Morning came almost immediately, breaking off her anxiety dream midway.
She stayed in her own tent while Tris and Jenna were left to sleep in Mary's. Mary took Jenna's for the night.
She heard the splash of water from outside and peaked out to see Merlin talking a swim in the pond.
"Hey, don't scare the early birds with indecent exposure." She yelled out from inside as she also nade her way out of the tent.
