They all turned to see Simon Bale walking down the stairs of the hall. He came to stand before them, looking proud and smug he smiled at them.

"Don't be distant my children, give your dad a hug. Come on." He said and Merlin and Paula hugged him one by one and sat back didn't on the couch while Leonard and Zara awkwardly looked around the place for an outlet.

"You are Leonard, right?" He turned to Leonard, startling him.

"Yes. Um... do you know me? I am sorry I must have forgotten our meet."

"No, no dear. It's not you fault. We met very briefly when you were like eleven, you and Merlin didn't see eye to eye then and now you are friends. So happy to see this. But you are new one aren't you?" He said to Zara who stood up and shook his hand.

"I am Zara. I am a friend of Merlin and Paula from college so you don't know me."

"Well,it's great to meet you. Hope you find comfort in our home."
