Paula stopped reading at the last sentence. She realised it was a letter written by her doppelganger to her parents. She wondered iftgey had read it or it was just laying there unread. She looked out the keyhole andger mother was still there, now brushing her hairs. She decided to read further when she heard another sets if footsteps and quickly shoved the letter into her shorts' pocket.
She saw a few pairs of pant legs and then familiar dress and feet. It was Zara and Leonard. From the structure of the poses it seemes like they both were barely conscious or unconscious supposed by the black pants wearing people.
"Did you find her?" Her mother was asking.
"No mam. They are looking around the house. We will bring her as soon as we find her." Paula was pretty sure the 'her' here was no one but her.
