Chapter 11

Zen was currently standing at an exit gate from the city on this first floor.

Zen had been around this town since his previous experiment of buying apples. Zen is very amazed by this game, because this game is very real even though it is not as perfect as the real world, but this world is very real according to him.

Not even that, all the senses we have function very well here, although not very perfect.

And after some time around the city, Zen finally decided to try to go outside the city and start defeating some monsters.

After leaving the city, the first thing Zen saw was, a vast expanse of grass with a very stunning view from a distance.

The scenery outside the city can be regarded as a very real fantasy world scene. From a distance, we can see several floating islands with fountains falling from the island and causing a rainbow to form around it.

Not only that, several monsters like Wyverns were flying freely like birds in this vast sky.

"Wow.. Really very real" said Zen still enjoying this beautiful view.

"No wonder the whole world is excited about this game, but they don't know the disaster this miracle will cause." Zen said in his heart.

After being satisfied with looking at the scenery in this place, Zen started to warm up by stretching his body to try to fight against some of the monsters around here.

Then he took out a sword that was the player's starting weapon from his storage.

"Alright let's try fighting the monsters" Zen said excitedly.

Not far away, there was a boar with a blood bar next to its head, just like the monster Kirito fought when he was about to teach Klein.

"All right, you evil boar, you will be my training opponent" Zen said as he pointed his sword at the boar.

"Hyaaaaaaaa" Zen shouted holding his sword and ran towards the wild boar.

'Swoshhhh' a slashing sound that came from Zen when he was about to slash the boar.

But unfortunately the wild boar is very agile and starts to avoid Zen and then butts Zen's body

"Awhhhhhhhh" Zen shouted back, but..

"Hah, it doesn't hurt" said Zen while holding his body which was rammed by the boar.

"Apparently this game has no pain resistance" said Zen next. But then saw his HP bar being reduced due to that attack.

"Alright you bastard, earlier I was just giving you leniency, now I'm going to slash you to death!" Zen shouted as if the boar were his mortal enemy.

On the other hand, the players who were beta testers of this game who saw Zen's behavior, just passed it by holding back their laughter.

"Hyaaaaaaaa" Zen shouted back while running pointed his sword at the wild boar while trying to slash it.

"Hyat... Hyat... Hyat..." the voice that came out of Zen's mouth tried to slash the boar, but he couldn't hit it because the boar kept dodging.

[Hahahahahaha] Then came a voice from Zen's mind, which was Irene's laughter.

[You will be a good actor Zen] Iren said then.

"Shut up Irene, you don't know that this wild boar is very strong. Just look, I slashed it a few times but it still didn't hit it" said Zen who was still trying to slash the boar.

[Hahahahahaha] But Irene still laughed at Zen's behavior who was still trying to slash the boar.

[What if Zen uses a sword skill like Kirito did when teaching Klein] Irene said after she was satisfied laughing at Zen.

Hearing this Zen remembers something, that this game has a technique that can help defeat enemies called sword skills.

"How to use it Irene?" ask Zen

[Zen should only focus Zen's strength and on the sword.] Irene said.

Then Zen tried to put Irene's advice into practice, focusing his strength on his sword. Then the sword began to glow as it gathered light around it.

"Swooosh" A swift slash aimed at the boar was done by Zen with his speed increased from using the sword skill.

The boar that Zen slashed slowly began to explode and turn into shards of light indicating that the boar had been defeated.

"HAHAHAHAHA" Zen laughs

"Feel you rotten pig, that's my true strength" Zen said while celebrating his victory.

"So that's how to activate the sword skill, alright Irene let's move onjoin our hunt" Zen said excitedly.

That's how the days passed by Zen every day. Zen just played this game, ate, slept and sometimes accompanied Suguha for walks.

Zen avoided standing out at this point, Zen was just trying to get used to the impending death game.

Zen has already mapped out some useful places to increase his power on floors 1 to 4.

Finally an announcement saying that this closed beta session will end and the game will be released a week later is heard.

"It's finally over." Zen said hearing the announcement.

"Death game I'm coming"

Zen said then he was forced out of the game.
