Chapter 33 Kirito vs Heathcliff

"Zen, have you heard the news about Kirito going up against Heathcliff?" asked Asuna.

Currently Zen and Asuna were relaxing on their terrace with a cup of tea made by Asuna.

"I heard it, why?" ask Zen

"Why would Kirito accept the duel, moreover why did the group leader so desperately want someone with the ability of two swords like he did to you before when he found out you got that ability?" Ask Asuna

"If the reason he's looking for someone with abilities like me, I don't know the reason. But if Kirito accepts this duel at the stake of him entering the group maybe I know the reason" said Zen while drinking Asuna's brewed tea.

"Is that true?" asked Asuna excitedly. Seeing Asuna's behavior, Zen just smiled because Asuna was like a normal woman who liked to listen to some gossip.

"Do you know who the vice-captain of the group is?" ask Zen

Then Asuna nodded while saying "Sachi right? The woman we saved back with Kirito?"

"Yes, and did you hear about the assassination scheme in the safe zone and the two of them who stopped it" Zen said and Asuna nodded.

"I think they like each other or you could say they have a relationship, because the two of them are very close and always together. Did you hear when Kirito fought the boss of the 74th floor and fought the boss using his dual sword ability, I heard he was forming a party with Sachi and fight the monster together." Zen said.

"Then what's the deal?" asked Asuna who was still confused by the direction of Zen's conversation

"So this is it beautiful Asuna, I think the group leader might know that they have a relationship and use Sachi as a bet to get Kirito to join the duel" said Zen.

"Ahhhh, so that's how it is" said Asuna who was starting to understand.

"Then shall we watch their match?" Asuna asked then

"Sure, and maybe we should take Lis and Silica along, because that place will definitely be like a festival and we haven't had a vacation together in a long time" said Zen

"Okay, then I'll let them know" said Asuna who immediately sent the two people a message asking them to watch the match together the next day.

The next day the Zen Group was getting ready and about to go to the match that had been the subject of recent discussion.

"Are you ready?" said Zen after they were ready to head to the venue of the match.

"READY!!" said the three women from the Zen group in unison.

"Alright, let's go" Zen said to his group.l

Right now all of the Zen group were wearing casual clothes, as they decided to just focus on enjoying Kirito's match.

After they arrived at their destination, the players began to pay attention to them. Currently, players are starting to be amazed because they can see Beast Prince Zen and Flash Queen Asuna along with their two additional members namely Dragon Slayer Sillica and Smith Master Lisbeth from their group called Elite.

After Zen showed his appearance to the public so as not to make rumors that slandered Asuna continue, now Zen is nicknamed the Beast Prince because of his good looks, while for Sillica he gets the nickname Dragon Slayer because he fights alongside his formidable pet.

As for Lisbeth, because all the weapons she made were good weapons, she was nicknamed the Smith Master. Currently all players will look for him to ask him to make weapons, not to mention all the top guilds will compete to become members but they are firmly rejected by Lisbeth.

The four of them walked together towards the arena where the match was held, while looking around because many players had opened various booths here. The Zen group then tried to look at all the booths here, starting from selling weapons, clothes, food, potions and so on and the Zen group started to try these booths one by one.

After they wandered around, Asuna saw a familiar person. A woman dressed in white with a cowboy hat covering her brown hair and carrying a zither. Seeing the woman, Asuna began to approach the woman with her group.

"Hello poet-san" Asuna said to the woman.

"Hello Asuna-san" the woman said happily. But after she saw the man behind Asuna, the woman started to get nervous.

"H-Hello Z-Zen-san" the woman said.

"Yo Yuna, have you decided to enter my group?" Zen said.

Actually Yuna who heard Zen's invitation was very happy, but because she already had a group, she refused.

They ended up having a light chat there, but from a distance a man was watching them from afar while clenching his fists.

After being satisfied Zen group's goofs said goodbye to Yuna and they started walking towards the ticket counter because the match was about to start.

"Yo Nautilus, are you a ticket seller now?" Zen joked after seeing a familiar person.

"Of course not Zen-san, I'm only selling tickets for this match" replied the man with a friendly smile.

"Alright, can I get 4 tickets?" Zen said.

Then the man started to give Zen the tickets for this match. Zen who already got the ticket then left the counter.

The ticket sales man who had previously smiled kindly, suddenly his expression changed with his hands starting to clench.

"You may save our lives Zen, but I will save our love" he said later.

Then the Zen group headed into the arena and started to take their seats waiting for this fight.

After a long time of waiting, the cheers in this place started to heat up after seeing the stars from this event start to enter the Arena.

Kirito with his black robe and two swords on his back and Heathcliff who was wearing his white guild war armor carrying his shield and holy sword.

The arena went crazy again when it was announced that this match was about to start.

Kirito and Heathcliff started chatting for a while and Heathcliff immediately sent an invitation to a duel against Kirito and accepted.

The two of them began to take steps to attack, Kirito began to draw his two swords and Heathcliff was already holding his weapon and shield until the duel began.

Kirito immediately attacked the opponent in front of him fiercely, he used a fast attack but was dodged by his opponent. Meanwhile Heathcliff who managed to withstand most of Kirito's attacks started to counterattack using his shield and holy sword.

This fight is very exciting, and makes this place even more excited by the cheers of the players watching.

Until finally an opportunity opened for Kirito to attack, but the attack was quickly blocked by his opponent and began to counter the attack with his sword which resulted in the end of the duel with Heathcliff's victory.
