Chapter 1: Where is the exit?
Inside a big mansion-
Maids, butlers and many other servants are moving here and there. Carrying many goods with them as they all prepare for the new year eve.
The night is falling deeper, everyone is preparing for a big feast, but the weather outside is not looking so good.
Dark clouds have gathered everywhere in the sky and lightning strikes could be seen falling around the near mountain.
"the weather is looking grim, we should tell Young Master to stop playing that VR game as there is a chance for a blackout, considering how the weather is right now" a butler told the maid after he looked outside the window
But even after hearing his words, no one stopped doing what they are doing.
This was pretty confusing for the butler but from behind, he heard a female's voice
A very seductive lade in red dress, carrying a walkie talkie, tells the butler "There is no need to disturb young master, he is angry right now because no one from his family will be available for today's party.
Just keep doing what you all are doing right now"
She is the caretaker of there young master, her name is Luo Na.
The butler, an old man, made a sad expression after hearing that there will be no one by the side of there young master even when its new year's night.
Lou Na could feel the sadness of the butler, she tells him "There is no reason to be sad, we all are paid more than any servant working in any house across the whole chine because our job is to keep our young master safe and full fill his all needs.
And above them all, the biggest reason why we are paid so much is because our Main Masters (parents/ employer) are busy due to their work
So, it is our job to keep Young Master happy and never make him feel lonely.

*THUNDER STRIKE*
Before Lou Na could finish her sentence, a bright light shined through the windows and then came a loud noise
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
"It seems like a lightning fell on our power house, we will be activating the underground generator.
Please wait for a few seconds" A guard standing outside the mansion told Lou Na through the walkie talkie
And within next few seconds, the power came back.
"I should check young master" Lou Na said when the power came back as she is now worried about their young master.
The butler nodded and everyone get back to their work.,
Inside Xiao Xue's (Young Master) room-
"Young master, are you alright?" Lou Na asks Xiao Xue, a young adult, who is sitting on a sofa with a giant VR helmet on his head
But even though the VR headset should have shut down due to power cut and Xiao Xue should have take his headset off, he is still wearing it.
This felt strange
She became worried and tries to shake Xiao Xue to check if he is alright or not but
The moment she touched Xiao Xue's body, his body fell flat on the sofa as if there is no soul in it
"YOUNG MASTER!!!"

A few minutes ago-
Xiao Xue, sitting on his sofa, held his phone tightly as he looked at the message reflecting on its phone screen
The message is from his parents about them being not able to come for the New year party.
"As usual, I am all alone"
Xiao Xue said with a sigh filled with sadness and then he looked around his room.
His whole room is divided into three parts, one is like a living room, the other one is a big bathroom with a sauna and then there is the bedroom which is as big as a small house.
The whole room is filled with luxurious item and many expensive items for playing but they all are worthless to the eyes of Xiao Xue.
No doubt, Xiao Xue's family is rich and he has everything one could desire but… there is one thing that he don't have and everyone else have
A family
The whole mansion, which is located in the outskirts of the city, has an amazing night view and cold breeze of air throughout the year, might be something that everyone desires to have
But to Xiao Xue, this mansion is nothing more than a cage made up of gold.
Xiao Xue gave out another sigh and looked at the VR helmet on the coffee table, he smiled and said "Not the real world, but at least I am free in this fantasy"
He picks the VR helmet and said "Guess, I will play 'Absolute Sword' all night
That will be the party for me"
Even though he is speaking with a smile, but his smile holds no joy but sadness only.
He gets ready to wear the VR helmet, but before he puts the VR helmet, he said "if only this game world was not just a fantasy"
*Wears VR helmet*
*Thunder Strike*

Inside Xiao Xue's mind-
"I just logged into the game and the screen blacked out?
The heck is going on?
Server down?"
Xiao Xue is confused as he is saw nothing more than darkness around him which is confusing as the game was loading, but suddenly everything blacked out and there is no log out button.
As he tries to understand what is going on, suddenly
*shock*
"AAAAAAA!!!"
A strong wave of electricity passes through his brain
Xiao Xue shouts as loudly as possible but the pain is not going away and soon, he starts hearing voices also
[Downloading Information]
[Download Complete]
[Installing Information]
"AAAAAAAA!!!"
Xiao Xue keeps on shouting while he goes through pain, he also starts seeing different images inside his head such as his own game character and also various other game characters
"STOP!!!!!"
Xiao Xue screams in pain, but the pain didn't go away
Rather it became more intense

[Host brain capacity is full]
[Troubleshooting the error]
[Forcing the brain limits to increase]
[Installation starting again from the beginning]

[Installation completed]
[Scanning host body for any future errors]
[Host body found dead]
[Host cant go back]
[Transferring Host consciousness to another body]
[Finding a new body]
[Found 0 new body suitable for host]
[Finding a new life]
[Found one new life that has ceased to exist]
[Transferring the consciousness]
[Transfer complete]
[Applying sleep mode]
[Wish you a happy journey]

*Heavy breathing*

Just what in the world was that?

Xiao Xue opens his eyes and the first thing he said was about what he experienced in the darkness
His head is still in pain but its lot better than before, he tries to calm himself and then try to get up but he notices that something is above him
"What is this?
Excuse me?

Xiao Xue saw that someone is covering his body and when he tried to move the person, he notices that it is a woman and when he saw her face, his is horrified as the women carries an expression of shock and her whole body is cold
Blood is splattered all over the women's face
"What the fuck is going on?
I should log out immediately!
Wait wait wait
where the hell is log out button?!!!"
Xiao Xue gets scared from the women's dead body and he wants to log out but he can't find the button anywhere
He quickly sides away the womens dead body and stands back on his feet, he started finding for the game interface but he couldn't find anything
It is as if he is seeing things with his own eyes
"oye oye, the fuck is going on right now?
This is no joke
Is this some kind of new year update?
If it is, I am going to sue the company once I go back to my wo..r…l..d

Xiao Xue looked around him to find the game interface, he didn't find anything related to the game but he did saw something
What is it?
A big pile of burning human body

The…. Fuck is that?!!!"
Xiao Xue couldn't believe in his eyes and neither he could understand what is going on but when he turns around
He straight fell on the ground, on his butt, due to shock as he saw more dead bodies everywhere
Xiao Xue has not seen nothing like this in his whole life, but the horror has just begun as he notices that his feet's doesn't belong to his game character,
But rather, it belongs to a teen rather than a proper adult man
Vultures and crows came down to eat the dead bodies, the smell of burning houses and flesh of human bodies is roaming everywhere
These all things are way too real to be just a game
