Was he loud? Yes!
But, was he afraid? No!
After fighting the strongest people in the world, even though he didn't have a slight bit of mana, he wasn't afraid of anything at all. Unless the opponent was too strong, he had ways to counter it.
For example, the lady in front of him was only a Senior Mage. Just his Killing Intent was strong enough to restrain her movement unless she doesn't have any intelligence.
Killing Intent normally didn't work on lower-level monsters. It's because they didn't have intelligence, they didn't show any fear. But, of course, if it was mana pressure together with Killing Intent, then it would work.
Alex turned around and helped Moona stand on her foot. Although both had the same intention, he found Moona much better than the lady behind him.
He turned his head at the guard and asked "Is my pass ready?"
The guard who was trembling with fear instantly nodded his head and passed his card to Alex.
Alex held the white card with a stamp on it and walked toward the gate. But, he noticed that Moona wasn't walking. He frowned and said "Sorry about that! You don't have to be afraid. I just don't like when people try to order me."
Moona gulped down her saliva and nodded her head. She couldn't look in his eyes and tried to dodge his gaze. She quickly followed him and completely forgot that she was supposed to show him the way.
Alex sighed. In his first life, he had seen the life of superstars. Although he wasn't a superstar, his unparalleled handsome was a big attraction. It wouldn't just attract women but also troubles.
After all, troubles and women are the two sides of the same coin. In his past life, he didn't pursue any woman. Being the strongest mage, he was revered and feared by everyone.
And, those who had the same strength as him already had a husband. Not to mention, he was completely focused on developing the Blazing Youth Academy.
Now, he still had to focus on developing the academy but this time, he didn't plan to remain alone. He took a deep breath and turned his head at Moona.
"If you don't mind, can I stay at your home for a few days?"
Moona was stunned by his question and immediately nodded her head. Slowly, her fear started to fade away as she asked "Are you hiding your mana?"
"Not quite! You wouldn't understand this. Anyway, can you tell me more about this town?"
Moona truly didn't understand. She couldn't find a single trace of mana from his body but that strong pressure almost made her lose her consciousness.
She quickly forgot about that pressure and started explaining.
"This town is called 'Cederel'. It was established nearly three hundred years ago by a small group of people. Now, it has grown so big that almost ten to twenty thousand people are living in this town."
"Because this town is close to the river, there are many chances for Monster Beasts Rampaging Tides. So, we have built these tall walls to protect ourselves. Our town is fairly good."
"But, recently, a bad person has taken over the town's chief's position. His name is Vander. He is currently the Mana Warrior so he is the strongest person in this city."
"The lady whom you just rejected is his wife. She is Senior Mage and most of the guards of Town Chief are also Senior Mage. Due to this, nobody dares to revolt."
"Vander has raised the taxes by fifty percent on shopkeepers. The people who were selling things outside were forced to go out because they couldn't pay the taxes."
"And, even to go out and in, you need to pay ten mana coins so he is constantly generating a lot of money for himself. I don't know about your strength but you will be in big trouble soon."
"That woman won't let it rest."
Hearing her words, Alex looked at her with confusion and asked "Isn't that lady his wife? Why would he let his wife get a boy toy?"
Moona shook her head and said "Although she is his wife, they are only married on paper. The original position of the chief belongs to his wife's father so he married her to take the position."
"He can't force her to do anything at all. Because her father is still alive and stronger than Vander."
"Oh! That means it isn't just Vander who is corrupt." Alex realized the situation and nodded his head.
Moona was speaking in a very low tone so even though they were walking on the street, nobody could hear them. And, there were very less people on the street.
"So, which district does this town falls under?" Alex asked.
There were currently seventy-five districts in the Human Kingdom. Each district has plenty of cities. But, since this city was on the outskirt, it should fall under the large district.
Because the inner part had the power differential in a large number so there were a lot of cities in a single district but on the outskirt, there were only a few with powers so they could easily conquer and rule a large land.
"This town doesn't fall under any of the twenty districts." Moona shook her head and answered.
"Wait, what? Twenty districts? Weren't their seventy districts? What happened?" Alex suddenly caught her shoulders and asked. His actions and words made a few people on the street strangely stare at him.
Alex realized his inappropriate action and let go of her. Moona who felt his hands on her shoulder and his face deeply close to her was burning red.
'Damn it! He is a man, a man. Why is his skin even smoother than mine? And, why is he so goddamn handsome? Calm down, Moona! You shouldn't act like that bitch. You must act properly.'
Slowly, Moona calmed down and explained as they walked.
"It seems like you don't know the history. Hundred Years Ago, Blazing Youth Academy fell. The headmaster and ten teachers of that academy fought against each other and died."
"The battle alone took the lives of many people but what came afterward was even more disastrous. Due to the death of eleven strongest mages, the other races including the monster race attacked the Human Kingdom."
"They managed to take a lot of land from the hands of humans. It was the Third Great Magus War. The war lasted for three years and countless humans died. They lost almost thirty percent of their lands."
"Even this land was destroyed by the monsters. But, since monsters normally leave in the Forest of Eternity, people rebuild this town. The war only ended when the Emperor 'Stone' claimed that he managed to kill the headmaster of the Blazing Youth Academy."
"This forced the different races to sign another peace treaty and finally end the war. After that, there are only twenty-five districts including the Royal District at the heart of the Human Kingdom."
"As for other lands, most of them are occupied by other races."
Hearing her explanation, Alex was barely able to calm down. He didn't expect Stone to survive somehow. This would be a big problem especially if Stone finds out about him.
Not to mention, he didn't expect humans to lose so much after his death. He sighed. During his times, there were only two major forces in the human Kingdom.
Royal District and Blazing Youth Academy
Both had maintained authority and power over each other. This helped humans to create a proper and equal relationship with other races. But after the end of Blazing Youth Academy, the power shift occurred.
It took the human kingdom down the hill. At this moment, his eyes suddenly turned to the left as he saw a shadowy figure running away.
"Alex, if you don't mind, can I ask you something?" Suddenly, Moona asked.
Alex nodded his head.
"Previously, I thought you were from some big family. But, you didn't have a single mana coin, no place to stay, no guards, and you don't even know the history of our kingdom."
"Where did you actually come from?"
