Moona Joins the Battle

The flame rod suddenly got larger and smashed the metal mage in his chest. The flames were so condensed it was no different than metal.

Thud!

"Gah!"

When the metal mage fell to the ground, Devis coughed out blood. It was at this moment that he realized that the injuries were severe. His guts were pierced and that wasn't something to simply ignore.

Of course, he still didn't fall. But, the other mages quickly caught the glimpse of his injuries and rushed toward him.

Their palm condensed massive elemental balls as they threw at him while keeping a larger distance from him.

"Fireball!"

Suddenly, Moona appeared next to him and proceeded toward those elemental balls with a fireball on her palm. Devis got a glimpse of the fireball and a question stuck in his mind.

'Why was she using the fireball like this?'

Moona's fighting style was insane because dean had taught them how to use fireball as a conjuring spell, not augmentation but the way Moona was using it, it was clearly augmentation.

Moona smashed the fireball at those elemental balls. Her fireball was quite big and it managed to strike two elemental balls at the same time. The fireball exploded on her face but there was no hint of panic in her eyes.

Boom!

Moona has blasted away from the explosion and she landed close to Devis. She had bruises all over her body.

"Why are you fighting like that? Fireball is not supposed to be used like that." Devis put his hand on the wound to cover the blood as he looked at her and shouted.

"Shhh! You need to recover."

"Healing Bubble!"

Moona used a new spell on him and covered him with a bubble. Inside this bubble, the healing mana entered his skin and slowly started stopping his bleeding.

Moona didn't stick there for long and quickly rushed toward the Junior Mage.

Was she trying to be more reckless? Yes!

Was she stupid? No!

She knew she had to fight to preserve her status as the Eldest Student of Celestial Sun Academy. She got no other choice but unlike Devis, she can't increase the intensity of her flames with the lewd imagination or in any other way.

The only way she can beat her opponent is by using the conjuring method for fireball but fighting like an augmentation fighter. This way she can put more power into her attacks.

She instantly charged toward the armies of Junior Mages with the fireball in her hand. She was constantly gathering mana from the surroundings to make it bigger but at the same time, she was running toward them.

The mages instantly formed barriers in front of them and other mages behind them launched spikes at her. They used their own elements to form different kinds of elemental spikes.

Moona saw it coming and released the mana into her left hand. She formed a long sword in her hand. Just like with fireball, she also used the mana from the surroundings to increase the size of the sword.

"Fiery Slash!"

She swung her sword with immense force. The flames gushed out of her sword in the shape of a blade and struck the first spike.

"Fiery Slash!" "Fiery Slash!" "Fiery Slash!" "Fiery Slash!" "Fiery Slash!"

Moona continuously swung her sword and released many fiery slashes at those spikes. She was constantly using mana in her arms to keep it moving.

And, thanks to the Strength of the Hundred Dragons, she managed to pull off a lot of power. Currently, for her, she was barely using the first stage 'Strength of the Hundred Boars'.

She had been training Strength of the Hundred Boars with Alex for quite some time before he left. She also trained Conjuring Method during the day and cultivated her mana at night.

Thanks to her strength, she managed to destroy those spikes and then blasted her fireball at those barriers. Because she put an immense force behind that strike, she managed to blast away nearly ten mages at the same time.

Boom!

But, the explosion also pushed her back. Although she was standing straight, her legs were trembling. Using spells not only consumes mana but also stamina. For Moona who had been using such a reckless battle and also using so many spells, it consumed a lot.

She almost fell to her knees but thanks to her mentality to stay strong, she managed to keep her straight position.

The Senior Mage at the front clenched his fist with anger. He gritted his teeth after seeing nearly thirty of the Junior Mages falling down due to the heavy injuries.

Although they were getting treated, if it goes on, they will lose their Junior Mages against two students.

Two?

He couldn't believe two students are actually able to fight fifty Junior Mages. He knew his mages weren't that weak. They were trained quite well but the opponent was using strange methods that he has never seen.

He couldn't believe how Moona was to pull such a big fireball twice and nearly seven or eight of the fiery slash without her mana getting depleted. She was only in the Fourth-Tier after all.

And, he still forgot to count the Healing Bubble she used on Devis.

He gritted his teeth and shouted.

"Senior Mages, attack! Don't feel bad about killing them. This is a war. We can't let them injure any more junior mages."

Hearing his words, the senior mages next to him hesitated but eventually, they all rushed toward Moona and Devis. But suddenly, nearly twenty mages wearing a strange dark dresses appeared in front of Moona and Devis.

And, another mage with the same clothes as them appeared in front of the Senior Mage who had just given them the order.

"You must be Dark?" The Senior Mage looked at him and spoke.

Dark didn't speak a word. Senior Mage in front of him clenched his fist and a mist appeared around him. Slowly, the crackling sound appeared as the ground beneath them suddenly froze.

But, the next moment a powerful flame burst out of Dark and melted the ice.

At this moment, several meters away from them, four people stood in front of each other.

Two of them were Vander and his wife.

And the other two were Tenma and Jane.

Tenma looked at Vander while Jane focused on Vander's wife Celia.

"Hahaha! Tenma, it looks like you have raised two tigers in your house and you never told us." Vander laughed at him and spoke.

"Humph! Why would I tell anything to my enemy? Vander, you have tortured this town for too long, it's time for you to pay." Tenma clenched his fist and released his mana all over his body.

"Is that so? Unfortunately, you do not possess the power to make me pay." Vander cracked his knuckles and the immense mana burst out of him as well.

Jane didn't speak a word and her mana condensed into the waves of water as she rushed toward Celia. Celia spoke nothing as well. She released giant metal spikes into her hands and rushed toward Jane.

She tried to pierce Jane with her spikes but using the water barrier, Jane managed to stop her. Jane quickly went to the offensive by creating the water disk to slice Celia.

But, using the metal sheet, Celia easily blocked the attack. Two of them started the intense battle while another battle was brewing next to them.

Tenma released flames around him. Just like Moona, he was a flame user with a high fire affinity. Moona had an affinity for fire and water thanks to her mother and father.

On the other hand, Vander transformed his mana into wind blades and slashed them at Tenma. Using the intensity of the flames, wind blades vanished before even it could touch Tenma.

"Humph! I thought your powers were related to money. So, you are just a Wind Mage." Tenma snorted upon seeing his magic.

Vander also snorted and said "You are not worthy for me to use my wealth. I can finish you with my Wind Magic."

Tenma frowned hearing that. Having two magic wasn't uncommon. He wasn't afraid of his Wind Magic since fire is superior to the wind but he was afraid of any other unknown strength that Vander had.

"Tenma, you are getting distracted."

"Wind Spear!"

Vander charged with a powerful spear formed out of the wind. His wind was quite strong because of the immense mana he could use. But, Tenma easily saw it coming and used his flame barrier to block the wind spear.

"Tenma, if you think you can block my attacks, you are foolish."

"Shape Transformation- Trident"

When the spear couldn't break through the flame barrier, Vander smashed his palms together and shouted. The wind spear suddenly grew two more tips at the side.

At this moment, the trident began to pierce through the flame barrier but the intensity of the flame was slowly trying to destroy its momentum.

Whoosh! Splash!

Suddenly, Trident managed to reach the other side of the barrier and passed by making a slash on Tenma's cheek. If Tenma hadn't moved to the side, that would have struck him.

Tenma's eyes widened as he asked himself.

'How can he change the sharp and the power of attack without any contact with it?'

Seeing his shocked expression, Vander laughed and thought to himself.

'This guy knows nothing about magic. Shape Transformation and Nature Transformation are two of the basic things for a mage. Unfortunately, all of the attacks or defense he learned are through spells and none of them are his own creation.'

'Even if my wind magic is weaker than his fire magic, I can still win this battle. I don't need to use it.'
