Chapter 4: Are you ok?

Gosh, the most important thing right now is to find that Damian. "Where is he?" I croaked. Tiffany passed me a cup of glass and answered "He's still in the warehouse,". "Are you guys stupid? He might die," I screamed drowning the water straight down. "We're sorry we only wanted to teach the guy a lesson for hurting you," sobbed Maryanne. I signed and went to comfort them. They were only kids after all. We were all stuck in this rubbish place. So we tend to do anything just to survive. It was the survival of fittest here. Those who were not strong enough either got sick and died or were killed. I rushed to put on some clothes as I was still in my nightgown. These clothes were rags. "Hurry up and show me the way to the warehouse," I ordered as they hurriedly led me there. Wow being the villain seems a bit funny but it isn't me. I ought to change how these girls act before I leave this place.

We finally rushed towards this warehouse. I opened it to see a young boy lying on the floor scrunched up in a tight ball with his hands hugging his knees. I glanced at them and they too were looking quite frightened. They meant to harm but just chose the wrong way to show their revenge. "Hurry," I shouted. We all rushed over there and carried him back. I carried him all over to my bed cause I didn't know where he was. I felt his forehead and it was so hot... He must have caught a cold. I hurriedly grabbed my duvet and covered him. But he still seemed to be shivering. And so I leapt inside the bed to warm him up. Seeing this the girl gasped and I just causally stated that I was trying to warm him up. I began hugging him and he wasn't shivering so much. After the temperature inside the duvet warmed up I stopped hugging Damian. The dinner bell rang so I leapt out of my bed and hopped off to dinner hall along with Tiffany, Mandy and Cara. As we lined up to grab dinner I noticed that today we were having sausage and mash. It was only two sausages and the mash was disgusting. When we grabbed our food I sat at a table I noticed that many kids were quite frightened of us and kept on side eyeing us. They were also doing this to Dylan's gang. It wasn't a surprise because in this orphanage I and Dylan were the top two bullies. Ah, I ain't in the mood to bully anyone. We had a nice talk even when we were the only ones who were sitting at that table. I glanced at Dylan when he looked over at me. I shook my fist as if I was saying we still have a debt to clear. He glared at me but didn't say anything. Apart from the matrons who didn't like Anna most of the teachers who taught us and the director seemed to like Anna. Oh no, I should refer to Anna as myself now since I've taken her body. But it might just be for a day or so. Let's hope that I can go back home after I fall asleep. I miss home.

I was assigned to clean up the dining hall today so I asked the others to go back first. During the time I was cleaning I took two bread rolls for Damian to eat but I don't know if he was awake yet. When I stepped inside the bedroom the noise died down this was the bedroom of the junior girls. I stepped over to my bed and the girl who sleeps above me sank into her bed in hope that I didn't see her. Anna Shuttleworth, you were a very bad bully. I ignored all the stares and turned to Mandy and asked "how is he?". She looked up at me and replied " I think he's stirring,". I looked over at him and asked "Are you ok?" his eyes were still shut and I shouted, "if you don't wake up I grab a bucket of water and pour it over your head,". His eyes shut straight up and I looked at him and asked "How are you feeling?"
