Chapter 67: He brought it (1)

I woke up really early and looked at the view outside my window. Today looks nice, and sunny. Everything seemed so clear as if there was no trouble going on. This morning sure is a great one. At this moment a knock came from outside my door. "My lady," a voice shouted as I asked her to come inside. She quickly greeted me and explained my schedule for the day. If it wasn't for her, I would've forgotten I had breakfast with my lovely parents today.

Once again, I was quickly prepared to have a quick bath wore a bathrobe, and walked half sleepily to Lexi's cloakroom. As the maid opened the door, Lexi's attention turned towards me. "Morning," she greeted happily as I smiled sadly. "How're you so happy in the morning?" I asked as Lexi smiled at me.

"I woke up around an hour ago and then I did about 15 minutes of a workout which mainly consisted of me running around the garden and doing some stretches. Then I had a quick bath and now we are here," she explained.

This is the first time I've heard of a noble lady doing exercise. Don't they usually stay at home and act weak? "I know what you're thinking about, but, if I don't do exercise I as a foodie will only continue to gain weight. If only there was a way to keep my weight without having to do exercise," added Lexi as I agreed with her. If only.

Do you know what, I feel like I want to set up a shop. I will set up a shop mainly to sell women's products. I mean these days there are a lot of things that females need but aren't given. This business might be hot. I should invest in asking people to make those things and sell them. I'm sure I'll be able to make money as I did take business as my major. I died when I was 26 in my last life. Looking back it's been such a long time since I last saw my so-called family. Funny enough I do miss them.

"What are you daydreaming about?" Lexi asked as I snapped back into reality. "Thinking of opening a shop," I uttered honestly. "Well, good luck with that," Lexi muttered, "So what do you want to wear today? Something casual I suppose," as I nodded. "Casual and smart. First impressions are quite important.

"How about this one?" she asked whilst showing me the dress. I didn't wash my hair today yet I still felt that my hair was damp on well. It will dry on the robe I hope. This robe is quite warm actually. Anyway, I carefully looked at the dress Lexi handed me. "I haven't worn this one yet," added Lexi. This was much better because I am a total germaphobe.

This dress was quite modern. I would've worn it in the 21st century. The top was a white blouse adorned with fluffy flowers on the lining of the sleeves and the collar. It was adorned with sunflowers, one of my favourite flowers. People associate the Sunflower with warmth, positivity, power, strength, and happiness since it bears such a strong resemblance to the Sun itself. Even at the gloomiest times of my life seeing a sunflower would always make me smile.

The bottom was a silky green skirt that came up to about my knees. Fashion in the Theodo Kingdom for women was quite modern. Women could wear skirts up until the knees but no shorter. Trousers weren't a common thing for women to wear but it was allowed. Men's fashion was much more restricted. They could only wear trousers/ shirt or T-shirt, no shorts in the summer. They were often quite hot but in the summer they would mainly wear silky trousers which were a little bit better I suppose.

I immediately chose this one-piece dress and headed off into my room. Because the buttons were all at the back I asked one of the maids to help me. They helped me curl my straight hair, and it gave me a very spring feeling, which matched the season in the Theodo kingdom.
