[Loki's POV]
After that touching scene, another three months have passed, yeah, three months, just like that and of course yours truly have already recovered from my depressed state and I didn't cried at all okay?
OKAY?
You didn't see me hug my sister at all, you didn't, anyway, stop with that and let's start the plan on invading Camelot, well even though I say start, it actually already started three... or now six months ago when I met Alice and told her to overtake Camelot's underworld, well revealing more will be a spoiler, so I got to seal my mouth for now.
Anyway, before all of that, however, I have to first evaluate the progress of my subordinates so that I know who is to tap into with my barrage of orders that will be coming crashing down into them without stop soon.
I immediately evaluated them visiting them in their respective training and of course also having some duel with them, Vega is particularly is the one who is the most raring to go because of some things that happened in the past but of course he still got defeated. They also urged me and Ophiuchus to have an exhibition fight but we restrained ourselves because we might go out of control, so they just got rejected no matter what they do to persuade us.
And after that little farce, I immediately assessed and assembled my thoughts and analysis of all of them, but the way, this also includes Chrysaor and Ophiuchus, who knows they might be slacking and needs some spanking, yes, pun intended.
Anyway, as expected they are of course not slacking, I mean even if they did its not like it will make a difference at all, atleast most of the time so I immediately proceeded to the other four.
First, Vega, he, for a hot headed person sure can learn fast, at first he is doubtful about himself but now, he have adopted to his role as the commander of the assassination unit plus his training with the ever so calm Chris is also paying off and the mock battles between the unit of Ophiuchus and him always results in a close defeat or a draw, for someone who is fighting the world's strongest assassin and even though Ophiuchus is pulling her punches, it is still impressive that he can go for a draw.
I mean, if people heard the "Hebi" in Ophiuchus' name, they will already assume that they will get killed, but he seem to not mind her name at all, maybe because she is his former principal huh? Anyway, all in all Vega already passed my evaluation with flying colors and next is his spouse, Altair.
Altair is... Well, still a berserker style fighter without any noticeable change, instincts over strategy, brute force over finesse. For me, its barely passable but that's also what I recommend for her who have an unfiltered amount of strength and I am just looking to the down side of berserker style fighting that it doesn't have a distinct finishing move, but not the advantage that all strikes can be one.
Anyway, with the evaluation, her magic, the one I made her learn with Aragorn who have the Virgo mantle a while earlier is already mastered by Altair. Wind magic is her most proficient magic by the way, in case you don't know, the said magic is the most destructive elemental magic and thus proficiency of Wind magic will propel her explosiveness even more.
So I spar with her too and with her berserker style and... We kinda got scolded because we destroyed the arena my sister has lent me.
Anyway, she lost... do I need to even say this to you all?
But anyhow, she lost but put up a good fight, atleast for someone at her level fighting in toe to toe in a style of reckless abandon with yours truly, so I gotta say she passed my evaluation with also flying colors.
The other two, the former educators Benetnash and Nyx doesn't have any improvements, well if you're a teacher of students who will soon become soldiers of the country, one has to be equal to or even greater than perfect, even though when I fought them they seem to be a little surprised with some things I have done, so my conclusion is that they passed but they have to gather experience in fighting people in the same level of intelligence as them, you see, the field exercises in the Academy is all about killing monsters in man made labyrinth.
Anyway, their is also another good news it seems like after six months of training, a ridiculously short time for someone who have a very vague bloodline magic void magic, yeah, Igraine finally mastered the Void Step spell of her Void magic so right now she is currently jumping around in front of me waiting for a praise, damn it, patting someone's head is so cringe for me but I guess she's also a family so it's fine I guess.
I grabbed her waist and let her near me and then patted her head whilst looking at her in the eye saying "Good Job" as suddenly the door of my room creaked and an heterochromatic eyes popped out of it, revealing my sister with widened eyes, she back out a little bit in room with eyes of disdain.
"So you've finally stoop so low..."
I calmly let my hands off Igraine's waist and immediately said: "Whatever do you mean."
Right, I went too far because I'm waiting for an orgy here in my room but my child and sister is instead present and I quite don't appreciate it in all honesty but I gotta put up into it because they are my relative and child respectively.
"Well why are you jumping around?"
My sister looked at Igraine, so this lesbian bitch knew it all along.
"Yeah, the spell already got mastered."
After that exchange we continued to chat until I am alone and the orgy have to be postponed because I have to copy the spell into a magic circle, I have to first see Igraine cast the spell in super ultra slow motion and copy the sequence and transcribe it in runic formula, or mathematical, it depends what is easier and proven more effective and after that I have to spend time to formulate all of the shits of the spell.
I am not really good at making magic circles the evidence is that I only have single digits spells that have magic circle tier of difficulty and thus I will spend more time than a pure magic scholar, at first I want for Idun to do it for me , and even if I have suspicion about her of course I still consider the other side of the situation and it's honestly not like I can't do it without her, it's will just take longer than what she takes to do it.
But still, if she is not in the gray zone then I might make her do it but who knows their might be an explosive magic she added in the spell and will make me go "boom" out of the novel and will replace me as the main protagonist, In short I got to be careful.
As I was explaining all of this I am still formulating the spell in a circle floating in front of me with a dark gold glow, a mathematical+runic equation is proven to be effective to be able to accomplish the copying of the spell and thus my mind have double the load because I have to make the half of the spell runes and the other half numbers and if the person who is doing this is not me their head will now probably go bonkers for eternity because of the complication of the copying procedure.
Beads of sweat started to appear in my forehead, however as the last inch of the circle finally enclosed and the circle glowed more brightly indicating the successful formulation of the spell together with the sun ticking on its highest peak, the spell is finally complete.
I immediately put the spell in the back of my right palm, it glowed a last glow of dark and gold and finally died down and a somewhat odd figure of runes and numbers mingling together can be seen.
With this, I can finally do what I want to do for a long time already, actually one part of my plans on overtaking Camelot has to have another dragon slayer, but because I do not have time to go there and I don't have the good reputation with humans of that place because... of some stuff I already forgot because it has been in my teenage days when I am still a cold-blooded type character that is yet to discover the warmth of a woman's insides.... I mean, heart.
Anyway, I willed for the spell to activate and another golden black light swirled violently in my feet and engulfed me whole as I used the Void Step to the Kingdom called Gjallarhorn.
[3rd Person POV]
Caesar Gjallarhorn the Third.
The King of the Gjallarhorn Kingdom and the Dragon Slayer of the Dragon of Blue Flames, the King who have both the brain and brawn to propel his Kingdom into one of the closest Human Countries to match the world giant Valentine and the one of the few countries that Tyrfing gave up on invading, though the Kingdom doesn't have any alliance with Valentine despite just right beside in their forest of death.
The Gjallarhorn is in the right side of the Vassal Nation Camelot and only has a few kilometers as its border and thus King Caesar immediately made good relations with them, and when the moment that his good friend, Sigurd, also a Dragon Slayer became the hero, he immediately sent an envoy to Camelot with gifts so that he can further their relationship, ambition wise, who knows he might even manage to slip to the good side of humanity's greatest empire right?
But then, something unthinkable happen, the vassal came back with ragged clothes and with the finest silk he have prepared for his friend was torn inside it's container, the envoy was dejected, saying: "Y-your majesty... Are you sure that Hero-Sama and you have personal relationship... When I said your name he looks... Hostile."
"That's impossible..."
Caesar muttered as a stream of confusion appeared in his mind, this doesn't make sense, after all, all of the dragon slayers have kinship with each other because of their identity as someone who stole the lives and made the power of the most calamitous being on the planet as their own, it's like how the Dragon King have a strong kinship with his fellow dragons, so Sigurd being hostile will be unthinkable and seeing the somewhat docile personality of the strongest Dragon Slayer, it is impossible to pull off such a ridiculous prank that it is in the diplomatic scale.
That would be a crime on an unwritten rule to not kill or harm an envoy, but the evidence of the vassal's words is himself and maybe the rumored strong subordinate of Sigurd, Anna is the one whom stopped her master and the evaluation of the King about the said subordinate just went up a notch.
But that was the only clear thing about all of this fiasco, the envoy survived because someone stopped Sigurd from doing further damage, he tried to speculate all of the possible reasons for this, could it be that he deems me as a threat to Camelot?
He thought, after all, Sigurd have some complex of failing to protect the King of Camelot and as if to say that he is wrong, a golden black torrent appeared in his side the torrent shook violently and calmed down revealing a man in prince's attires, the man have very handsome feature and he is surely envied by many man.
And that man is known as Loki Darkbringer.
"Long time no see, Caesar-kun."
