Irene woke up at that moment and looked around, seemingly confused.

"Denis, why did you come. You shouldn't have come. They want you dead. Run if you have the chance, they are not going to let you go no matter what. Please listen to me." Irene shouted hysterically, warning

Denis.

He could only look at her.

Where did she want him to run to? Can't she see he was tied at the chair? Though he felt touched, she still cared for him; he had no deep feelings for her as before. For a long time, he had been taking care of her because of the affection. But he didn't want anything to do with her emotionally or physically.

"Don't worry. I will be fine." Denis assured her. It somehow soothed her as she kept quiet, looking around.

"What exactly are you looking for. I may know where it is." Denis tried to ask again

"Well. It's a small box that has a golden orb inside. We want the orb," said the man observing Denis's facial expression.
