Redwings

Luther followed the monster in silence, walking past the white gates. The scenery began to change from a desolate cave into a beautiful landscape. Trees cover the fields as wild beasts Luther never saw before hanging from the tree.

A monkey-like creature with blue scales were jumping from tree to tree picking the wired fruit.

"Ahh, sir you must be curious?"

"Of course."

"Those fruits are dragonic pineapple, they grow and flourish in the homeland of the gold dragons. A wicked place is known for its food and weapons."

"It seems he purposefully glossed over those monkeys." Luther thought to himself

Why are they here?"

"Good question, this place is your territory." Said the monster as he spread out his arms.

"My place?" Said Luther as he thought to himself, this is a good place indeed, small, complex, and well-designed. There's one major problem, humans are going to be exploring this place, day after day to milk its resources. As Luther glanced around he saw a group of monkeys sticking their tongue at the monster. When Luther glance at them they turned their head in fear. "He's not that respected… okay so he won't have the answer I need."

"I never got your name." Said, Luther

"Sorry my lord, this soldier doesn't have a name." Said the monster as he looked down with a sad expression.

"Why don't you have a name?"

"Only the king can name us."

"The king… so me."

"Yes, my lord!" Said the monster as he shake his head. The monster got on one knee as he reach his hand out to Luther.

"Your name for now on is Ragnor."

"Ragnor…" Mumbled the monster as his body began to heat up as the scales on his body began to fall off. Steam began to pour out off his body as Luther began to step back.

As if he was on autopilot Luther began to reach out his hand toward the monster, black, ominous clouds began to leak out Luther's mouth and eyes. The clouds began to swirl around the monster trapping it in a cocoon. Luther dropped to the ground gasping for air, whatever he did took a lot of mana from him, his whole mana reserve is almost empty.

"What was that?" Luther asked him a pick himself up. The weird monkey creatures circle Ragnor in a group, a buff black one walked in front of the pack with his chest puffed up. After forcing his way to the front of the pack, he launched himself at the cocoon, a small lightning strike hit the monkey launching him into a tree. The others ran to their leader and leap into the tree to hide.

Luther look away as he tried to hold in his laughter, "that wasn't funny…" Luther thought to himself.

The ground began to shake as the dark cloud cocoon slowly turned red.

Outside the cave, clouds began to swirl around the mountain as a small tornado formed near the abandoned soldier's camp.

"Fuck just leave the rest!" Yelled out a butler, his face was pale as he watch over the camp. The women his lady told him to watch over was now get toured through by a tornado. It came out of nowhere, they had no idea that this would happen. As if the tornado had a mind of its own it began to circle the mountain destroying the land near it. Despise what came on this path, the tornado destroyed it.

"Lady bell is going to be pissed." Said the butler as he leap away.

"Come on why didn't you tell me that later? I was just having fun!" Cried out a monster, his hand on Greg's neck tightened.

"Have fun? Is that okay to tell the king?"

"King this, king that, you were built to be a puppet and always will be one."

"You dare question my blood right?"

"Question? No, I hate it. Every day since we woken up you been giving me orders like you're the king."

"My order came from higher." Coldly said the figure as he pointed up.

" blasphemy! He would never talk to a lesser!"

"Do the sky have stars?"

The monster began to sweat as his grip on Greg loosen.

"I believe he's lying." Said Greg as he rubbed his neck. The two figures stared in silence as they look at Greg. "Hey don't kill the messenger, I just think he was afraid of your strength."

"Human you jest…" said the figure as it's walked closer. Sticking it's hand out the monster stops the figure from moving. Thinking his plan worked Greg began to smirk.

"Human mind games like that must work on the lesser but it will not work on me." Coldly said the monster as he dashed at Greg. Greg's face was pale as he realize he messed up.

"Stop we need him alive." Said the figure as it put it's s hands on the monster's shoulders.

"Why?! He's worthless!"

"I'm not worthless! I could keep your secret!" Scream out, Greg.

"See, an insect begging for his life. We need to put him down before any bad happens."

"Can't say right now…" said the figure as it began to sulk. Of course, he knew he had to kill him for the safety of his king but he had orders

Before the monster could rebuttal the ground began to shake. A wave of energy washed over their causing them to fall to their knees.

"Impossible? Who received a name?" Asked the figure as it stared out into the distance.

"If it's not me or you…"

"NUMBER 3!" Scream both of them as they ran deeper down the cave.

Confused and dumbfounded Greg just sat there not moving.

~back to Luther~

"What's happening now?" Luther asked himself as he watched the cocoon. The cocoon started to rise in the air as the wind around it stopped blowing. Cracks could be heard as a red hand punched out the cocoon. The red hand had black claws on the end and was covered with scales.

A red humanoid lizard leap out of the egg and landed in front of Luther. Redwings stretch from behind the monster as it fell to one knees.

"My lord, Ragnor is at your command."
