Honeymoon Plans II

Some people, when invited to honeymoon with a partner. It is certainly the most pleasant thing. Similarly, when in the honeymoon plan, we spend a lot of time alone with our partner.

"Are you crazy? How could we be on our honeymoon!"

Scarlett looked a little angry, she didn't expect at all that Dominic would bring her to this kind of situation. After all, Honeymoon is for couples who love each other. While they have no word of love for each other in her marriage. However, in the seconds later it was able to neutralize the look on his face again. She planned to go home early to meet with Dominic. It had to do with Dominic's invitation to honeymoon. This was really beyond Scarlett's expectations, because there was no written agreement for the honeymoon. 

Scarlett hurriedly walked towards her room, usually she would kindly reprimand her employees. However, this time no, her face seemed to be sour. In fact, her own employees did not dare to reprimand her at that time. When she was in her personal work room, Scarlett sat down, she took a sip of the cup of tea that had been provided in her desk until she was awake. Her mind was upset, because Dominic really made her not finish thinking.

"Damn it! How dare he make a decision that is not based on the marriage contract?"

Scarlett bluffed her desk, she also picked up the mobile phone in her pocket. Sent a short message to Dominic. She told Dominic to go home early; it was because Scarlett had to discuss the plan made by Dominic, after getting a reply from Dominic. Scarlett hurriedly snatched her bag and drove away from her office.

"Scarlett, where are you going?" said Cassie as she was about to open the door, she had just arrived. But, the look on Scarlett's face did not heed Cassie's arrival.

"There is business for a while, I left today's office work to you."

Scarlett left screeching in a hurry. In fact, Cassie herself felt that her friend was in trouble.

"Strange," Cassie muttered, looking at Scarlett's back that was about to move away.

Afterwards, Cassie walked into Scarlett's room and arranged several files stacked on Scarlett's desk. Scarlett, whom she knew to be so neat and perfectionist, has now turned into an indifferent person in her room.

"That kid," Cassie exhaled a rough breath as she cleared the files.

Basically, Cassie is indeed Scarlett's secretary who is in charge of arranging her busy schedule and tidying up Scarlett's files. Even so, sometimes Scarlett doesn't allow Cassie to clean up the things in Scarlett's study, it's because Scarlett doesn't like it. However, for the first time Cassie cleaned up the files piled up on Scarlett's workbench.

Scarlett drove the car at high speed, she didn't want to be on the road for too long and wanted to meet Dominic at home immediately. Discussing the thing that already makes the head boil. Along the way she only made decisions made by Dominic, whether intentionally or not, which obviously Scarlett really didn't like the unilateral decisions she made.

It took only about an hour and a half to get to the elite housing where he and Dominic lived. The gatekeeper greeted her kindly opened the door while giving Scarlett a greeting. At that time Scarlett was in a bad mood. She did not return the greeting spoken by the guard.

Scarlett also parked her car in a garage, walking in hurried steps. Opened the door and directly searched for Dominic's whereabouts. However, Scarlett did not find Dominic anywhere.

"Do you guys see, Dominic?" asked Scarlett to her maid named Lucy.

"Sir Dominic hasn't gone home yet, Mrs Scarlett."

[You guy is not on time!]

Of course, it made Scarlett furious, she also asked Lucy to make a glass of lemon tea to cool her head from the emotions caused by Dominic. Scarlett chose to wait for him in a living room. She also requested that Lucy also make her a snack. While waiting for Dominic, Scarlett rolled her phone on an entertainment app. She rolled until her finger stopped at a news story of her and Dominic's marriage.

[What kind of news is this?]

As Dominic did, Scarlett's heart felt uneasy. Moreover, several times her ex-fiancée contacted her. However, none of the calls were answered by Scarlett. She felt that Adam would overestimate the news spread in various media. 

Just getting this kind of news has made Scarlett boil even more, especially since she has to listen to the unilateral decision made by Dominic regarding their honeymoon plan.

[It really makes me hard.]

A few minutes passed and finally Dominic came over in the suit he was wearing this morning. She also walked up to Scarlett who showed her sour face.

"Sorry, I'm late."

She don't know what made Dominic apologize, Scarlett felt surprised that this man in front of her was a person who easily said the word 'sorry'.

"Just explain it."

Dominic headed for his seat and began to confront Scarlett. Dominic took out a mobile phone from his trouser pocket and showed him an article Scarlett had just read. Of course Scarlett was not surprised, because he had seen it before. 

"I've seen it. But, I just wanted to talk about those honeymoon plans. It's not stated in the marriage contract, anyway."

Dominic looked at Scarlet and explained the intention of himself taking Scarlett on his honeymoon, "It's true that it's not in our marriage contract. But, didn't you see the news about our marriage just now? They made the article as if they knew the reason behind our marriage."

Scarlett shook her head, she also listened again to the word after word spoken by Dominic, "My assistant proposed that if we had to go on a honeymoon, it would create a stigma about this contract marriage going as planned. And the media will not spread fake news anymore." 

Scarlett knew it all, but the media was still overcome. And of course, to keep the media shut up, it could have given them a little money, that's so that the news of their marriage could sink in. 

"Gosh," it shocked Scarlet as her phone bordered.

Scarlett looked at the name printed on the screen of her phone. There is the name of Jack Adams, Scarlett's ex-fiancée. Of course, it made Scarlett very surprised, because they hadn't spoken for a long time, and this was for the umpteenth time Jack contacted her.

"Just pick it up," Dominic said.

"But this is Jack," Scarlett looked worriedly at Dominic.

"It's okay, just pick it up."

Scarlett followed what Dominic said, she picked up the phone from Jack.

"Hello...." Scarlett said.

"I'm Jack," Jack replied from the other side of the phone.

"Yes, I know, just tell me what you want without being pedantic."

"Look, the news of your marriage has already spread. And there may be some truth if your marriage has any oddities."

As if getting an arrow attack, Scarlett was at a loss as to what to answer. She glanced at Dominic who was then in front of her. Dominic asked for Scarlett's cell phone, because at the time of picking up her phone Scarlett hardened her speaker and it made Dominic aware of all their talk.

"Sorry, sir Jack. It's good that you don't contact other people's wives. And I want to make it clear, if our marriage is on the basis of 'love' and there is no strangeness whatsoever. After all, we were going on a honeymoon trip to Italy. So, please don't disturb my comfort and my wife."

Dominic directly turned off his phone line and gave the phone back to Scarlett. Meanwhile, Scarlett was still stunned by Dominic's words.
