Chapter 110: An ulcer.

Three shirtless men ripped the wood porch apart in front of Cletus’s house. The tall one was pure male perfection, and though the guy had muscles to spare, Keyon couldn’t be bothered to appreciate the eye candy. All he could think about was how fast they could get a large porch built so he could leave and return to the city.

Really, it wasn’t about getting back to the city at all. All he wanted was to get back to Huck. He hadn’t decided yet to tell Huck that he’d basically bought a house for them to live in together. He had no idea how even to broach that subject. Keyon kept telling himself that this was utter madness. He knew it was. Huck and he had made no commitment to each other. He could barely even say the word boyfriend without getting so irritated he needed to take his gun outside and shoot a target for an hour. If he couldn’t call Huck his boyfriend, he would never get to a point where he would call him fiancé… or husband.
