Miss Martin (2)

I became a stalker by accident. When I came out of the inn, I saw that woman was still there with them and overheard what they were talking about.

The woman, Miss Martin, impudently forbade them to follow her. She snapped as if scolding them. She told them not to be like that because she was human too. She seemed displeased with what they were doing, following her. However, they denied it. They stick to what they want and follow her. They say they are her loyal followers and will always be loyal only to her.

I suspect she must be having a hard time fighting them. She had told them to stop doing that, but they still followed her, even saying they were her loyal followers. It's a tough thing for her. I'm pretty sure of that. Therefore I decided to stalk her.

I did this because I had a bad feeling about it. Somehow I can feel this when I know I, the woman, and they don't know each other. I don't know why I care about her and them. I'm afraid if it turns out that what they say, they are her loyal followers, will turn into they are her haters.

Something I learned about when they liked it and ended up hating it. It became a very meaningful lesson for me. I don't want that woman to go through something like that; her followers hate her. I can't imagine if that happened to her. She only wanted her freedom, but they took it from her instead. Isn't that sad? For me, it's very sad.

"Whatever you want! I'm very happy if you guys help me, whether to run a Dungeon, Boss Raid, a quest... But remember one thing! Please don't act like that in front of me. I know you guys are my fans, but I have privacy too. So, please don't act recklessly in front of me, which could bring down my dignity. If you do that, I will leave you!"

She warned them but with an annoyed face. She was telling the truth, even if she was bothered by having them as her followers.

"Alright, Miss Martin. I will always help you. This is the first time I've met you in person. So far, I've only been able to watch you on television and shows. I'm so lucky to have met you in this game."

One person responds and makes the other responsibilities as well.

They responded with the same words, guarding Miss Martin to the best of their ability. They seemed to want to play with her, make parties, and get things done with her. Maybe they aim to "play with her". Maybe that's what I can describe, for now, judging by the look on their faces and their enthusiasm for the woman.

I think they have made a party together with her. They were ready to play with her. So, I can't go any further. I have to stop now, not following what they will do. After all, I still have goals I need to accomplish in less than 3 hours.

I went to stay away from them, pretending I didn't see anything. I walked past them like everyone else.

After getting past them, I walked a little further so I could open my Main Menu.

I checked some of the menus available in this Main Menu. A few things annoy me, especially the red dots on some menus. It's a notification; the red dot is a notification that I have to open it. But I was bothered by it. I don't like when my Main Menu is filled with red dots in some menus. I was required to open the menus have a red dot, one by one, for those to go away.

I opened the Achievement Menu, creating the reward I got from my achievements as an adventurer. Then, I opened another menu, the Skills Menu, and upgraded the skills have a red dot. I opened the Character Menu and increased my character's stats—I chose to increase my DEX and STR stats first, as that would increase my character's attack.

I only increased 5+ to my AGI status. I need AGI status because of that skill, Hissatsu Kyuten. That's very important to me.

The number of stats on my current character:

STR: 53

INT: 0

VIT: 5

DEX: 45

AGI: 20

The number of remaining points: 5.

The stats on my character only depend on the attack, so I don't increase my VIT stat, which can increase my HP and DEF. I put my attack stats first, more than my defense. Also, I still have one Reset Status item, so I don't have to worry about my character's status is wrong—I can reset those using this.

The skills I have now are good, but I want more. If only relying on Hissatsu Kyuten's skill as my main attack, it's not good for me. I still remember their saying that it costs too much MP, and I've experienced that, so I need another skill as my main attack.

So today, I'll look for monsters that drop a skill, huh? It is very easy. First, let's find an enemy under my level, level 15.

I was in the Jajalo Grassland and had killed a few of the monsters, but I didn't get a single skill. They didn't drop it. They just dropped gold, items to make a piece of equipment, and disappointment. Why the disappointment they drop when they die? Yeah, that's because they have disappointed me. You know what, I regret wasting my time because of farming here. I was disappointed for wasting 1 hour of my time.

"Oh well, I'd better just change places."

There are still a few ways to get a skill, but I'm already into farming. So, I have to do that because it's already like this. But I had to move to a much more dangerous place—because it would increase the presentation of getting skill from loot on the monsters I killed.

There, right not far from the Jajalo Grassland, is a ruin often used for farming, a Boss Raid, and a Dungeon. That place, called the Jajaro Ruins, became the most dangerous place near the city of Armstan. The place is quite famous and frequented by players. That's why many newbie players hang around there. And there, it becomes a place to help each other between senior and junior players.

Maybe I can meet good senior players there. It would help me or give me good direction. It's possible that I can have friends there, friends between players. Maybe I can do other things there, like interrupt them while they're farming—I mean, help them out while they're farming. Maybe I can...

I decided to go there. I walked on the fine grass and kept walking. When there was no fine grass under my feet, I set my right foot to rest on the sandy ground.

I was already at the border between the Jajalo Grassland and the Jajaro Ruins. In front of me... what I want, it must be there. I hope that's the case, and I don't meet toxic and violent players. Oh, wait! Isn't that player me?
