Deandra snapped back from the sound of the slamming door, and blinked her eyes severally to recover from the ecstatic euphoria Andre had plunged her mind and body to and then the anger set in.

Who was he to think he could treat her the way he does? And why was she responding to him like that as though she lacked a will of her own? At that point, she felt like calling him bluff, going to lock her bedroom and leaving him standing out there until he got tired and left her alone.
