The Lighthouse

Aoki and Misty found themselves at the same place from where they were teleported.

The accuracy of teleportation of both the Slowking and Slowpoke was astronomical.

[Every species of my kind has the teleport marker ingrained in our minds Misty ]. The Slowpoke said with telepathy.

While Aoki's Clefairy called him master, Slowpoke referred to his trainer with her name which Misty didn't seem to mind.

Aoki took out his Pokedex and to his relief found that the GPS was now working properly.

He messaged Professor Oak about his new findings.

To which Oak replied that Aoki can meet him if he reaches Bill's lighthouse as he will be there for some work.

Although Bill had many labs across the region, he spends most of his time in the lighthouse for research.

Bill was another well-known researcher who was famous for the Pokeball and item transfer system.

It was similar to the move Teleport but only for items.

If two devices he made were linked together, no matter what the distance Pokeballs or other items can be transferred.

These devices can only be found in Pokemon centers and Research labs due to the huge size of the machine.

This device can also be referred to as a PC in the Pokemon games.

Unlike the anime where a trainer can only carry 6 Pokemons, there are no such rules in real life but the maximum number of Pokemon usable in an official match is 6.

Trains don't usually have the capability to take care of 6 Pokemon together so they make contracts with different associations or Pokemon Centres to take care of the Pokemon the trainers are not using.

Aoki has a contract with Professor Oak's lab while Misty has with Cerulean Gym.

Every gym has caretakers appointed by the league to take care of Pokemon for the gym leader, gym apprentices, or some high-ranking members.

Aoki told Misty about the conversation and they started moving towards the lighthouse which they would reach by nightfall if things went smoothly.

As he was looking through the rest of the messages, he got a message from Brock that Ash had won the Cascade badge after his 3rd try and would start their journey to Vermillion City tomorrow. The battle was against Misty's sisters that's why Ash won or else Aoki was sure that he could not pass David's Gyarados.

Seems like Ash doesn't have the same luck that he had in the anime

Two weeks ago Aoki had received a message from Brock that he had started his journey with two trainers named Ash and Daisy.

Aoki was surprised to hear Grand Daughter of Professor Oak was traveling with them.

Brock had told that Ash defeated him on his 3rd try in the gym. He could not get past even his Geodude in the first 2 times.

'I wonder how this version of Ash will turn out'

Aoki continued his journey towards the lighthouse while having Bagon fight all the wild Pokemon he could see.

His other Pokemon were too strong for Bagon so he made Bagon gain experience from wild Pokemon.

Misty had Slowpoke out who was floating beside her with psychic energy.

The wild Pokemon were mostly in the intermediate ranks due to the availability of high resources in this region. There were a lot of Kraby in this region which served as a delicious crab soup for everyone.

Due to constant battling for hours Bagon had learned two new moves which were focus energy and Headbutt.

Focus energy was learned due to the constant use of the calm mind technique developed by Aoki.

This technique was a combination of meditation, focus, and breathing exercises which Aoki tried to enhance every day. This method showed a tremendous increase in the focus and battle strength of Pokemon.

Aoki was both surprised and suspicious by the level of growth of Bagon.

In the evening, the sky which was clear a few seconds ago started getting darker all of a sudden so Misty and Aoki took out their bicycle for going fast.

By the time they reached the lighthouse, it was already midnight and they had to stop multiple times because the dark sky gave rise to a rainstorm.

Although due to the dark clouds everything was nearly enveloped in darkness, the lighthouse was visible.

Aoki and Misty reached near the lighthouse and were amazed by the size and designs of the door.

The door was made from Gold which had corroded but still had some luster but the main point was the carvings of various Pokemons on the door.

The most striking carving was of the three legendary birds of Kanto which were Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno.

Aoki clicked on the doorbell which was beside the door and a sound came from a mic beside it.

"Are you two perhaps professor Gunhildr and Misty"

"Yes" answered Aoki. Bill was one of the few people that knew his Identity.

"Please come inside"

As soon as he answered the giant door opened for them to go inside.

The lights inside the lighthouse were on which displayed various pictures that seemed like as if taken from the lighthouse.

One picture was the evolution of a group of Magicarps into Gyarados while the other was the fight between two Pidgeot.

In one of the Pictures was professor Oak with a 16-year-old Bill who was holding a Growlithe in his arms.

The next picture was when Bill with his Arcanine beside the transfer machine.

Aoki was sure that was Bill because when he announced the Transfer system his picture was circulated all over the region in newspapers, news, and even textbooks.

This happened three years ago when Bill was only twenty-three years old. Apart from creating the transfer system, he was also famous for publishing many research papers on prehistoric Pokemon.

While moving inside the lighthouse Aoki and Misty came across a horrifying scene.

They found the bleeding body of professor Bill on the floor while Kabuto was licking his blood.

Misty's face paled seeing the scene. She had seen dead bodies before but this time was different as just a moment ago they heard the voice of Bill.

"Stop panicking Misty. Looks carefully that's sauce, not blood" said Aoki

~Growl~

Came a sound from the stomach of Bill as he said with a zombie-like voice.

"Fooooood"
