Seeing the shocked faces of all his companions and Aoki, Shelgon thought he was going to get scolded but instead of getting a scolding, Aoki started laughing loudly.

"That was amazing Shelgon, I never expected you to use Draco Meteor. The power behind the move was out of my expectation"

Aoki laughed and patted Shelgon making him happy.

Five minutes later, Pidgeotto woke up and got embarrassed for fainting.

"Seems like you lost terribly 'Older Sister' " Charmeleon teased especially emphasizing the older sister part.

He still remembered when they used to fight Pidgeotto used to say ' Older sister will teach you…older sister will show you.

"Just wait …I will teach you a lesson later" Pidgeotto laughed too.

"How did you do that move Shelgon? " Aoki asked.

"Remember I once told you that the giant Dragonite once gave me a gift that I didn't know what it was?

After my evolution, information about some new moves filled my head like the Dragon pulse and this move that I was taught by Dragonite.

Unlike the other moves, this one took a large amount of dragon-type energy and charge time but I managed to do it on the first try"

Shelgon explained with pride.

"So this is why you used very less dragon-type moves in the fight. Seems like evolution has brought large changes in your except your weight and ability to eat " Aoki.

"Master don't remind me of my pain…." said Shelgon getting another wave of laughter.

He gave all his Pokemon an hour of rest while he made some plans for his Pokemon most importantly Shelgon.

Draco Meteor was a devastating move is used and controlled properly so Aoki was going to make Shelgon focus on it for a while.

"Now that the first rounds of matches are over, we shall start the second round"

Charmeleon and Gyarados came forward for that round.

Both of them initiated Dragon Dance at the same time but Charmeleon finished first and struck Gyarados with a Fire Blast.

Gyarados could not dodge in time and took the full effect of Fire Blast to his face.

Coating his tail in water-type energy he slammed it toward Charmeleon who jumped in the air and used flamethrower.

Gyarados did not abandon Aqua tail and used Water Pulse to meet the Flamethrower creating a lot of vapor.

The power of the flamethrower surpassed Water pulse and moved towards the head of Gyarados which he dodged by moving sideways again slamming his tail towards Charmeleon.

Charmeleon crossed his arms with Dragon craw blocking Gyarados's tail and using Dragon Rage.

Gyarados too used Dragon rage making their attack collide and create an explosion.

Gyarados moved his face forwards and used Crunch on Charmeleon who just dodged by a few inches but still the attack gazed at him before he dodged.

Charmeleon after dodging used Flair Blitz on Gyarados' face getting huge damage.

Although Gyarados will take less damage from fire-type moves the power of fire-type moves of Charmeleon is so strong that it somewhat negates the resistance.

Gyarados roared in pain and started using the Hydro pump and Aqua tail combo.

Charmeleon increased his speed to maximum and started fighting while coating his arms and legs with Dragon-type energy.

In the current situation, he could not let himself hit as water would do large damage to him.

Charmeleon with his superior flexibility reached near Gyarados.

Gyarados used Blizzard to slow down Charmeleon and used Hyperbeam at him.

Charmeleon increased his body heat to the limit and gave Gyarados an uppercut with Flare Blitz making the Hyperbeam move toward the sky.

At that moment Charmeleon charged his Hyperbeam and hit Gyarados in the face causing large damage.

He used a mega kick on the head of Gyarados, jumped into the sky using his strong legs, and finally used an iron tail to slam Gyarados to the ground.

Boom!

Gyarados cried out painfully and opened his eyes to see Charmeleon's claws in front of his eyes ready to strike any moment.

"Gyarados is unable to fight, Charmeleon wins "

Hearing this Charmeleon retracted his claws and moved back towards the rest and approached with a face as if saying ' Praise me '.

Aoki smiled and praised Charmeleon for his efforts and the improvements he made since the last match.

He was very satisfied with both of their performance as Charmeleon went on full attack mode from the start which suited him the best while exploiting the enemy's weakness and Gyarados focused on protecting his head while fighting in a close square.

Gyarados was disappointed as he could not win and will be able to eat his favorite food for a week.

But that filled him with more motivation to work harder.

He never wanted to come across a situation like the one with Gengar where Aoki had to sacrifice himself for them ever again.

Darkrai who was practicing Shadow Ball sensed the motivation behind the Pokemons, a smile that could not be seen by anyone bloomed on his face.

'Those were some days...I wish the war never happened…..I wish I didn't have to make those choices…my friends….'

For the next round, Clefairy and Shelgon came forward.

'Shelgon is losing this one' Aoki was sure.

Clefairy had a counter to every move Shelgon had plus her fairy typing absolutely dominated the Dragon typing.

'This will be the quickest match' most of them thought,

As Aoki announced the start of the match, Clefairy used light screen and Reflect to lower the damage from normal and special attacks.

Shelgon knew Clefairy would do that so he used Dragon Dance to boost his speed and attack.

Everyone knew that Fairy-type was super effective against Dark, Fighting, and Dragon-type while being weak to Poison and Steel-type.

Unfortunately, Shelgon didn't have any move of that type.

Looking at Clefairy floating, Shelgon used flamethrower and moved toward her.

Clefairy used Protect and Hypervoice.

Shelgon felt as if his eardrums were going to bust making him stun him for a moment.

Clefairy instantly reached near her and used Moon Blast to deal massive damage to him.

Shelgon used Dragon Pulse but a strong repulsive force burst out from Clefairy repelling the Dragon Pulse.

Shelgon experienced pain and used more Dragon Pulse along with Fire Blast at Clefairy.

Clefairy could not dodge one of them on time and took damage from the Fireblast but it didn't do much as it should because of the light screen.

Clefairy joined her hands as a light blue beam of ice shot out of her palms at Shelgon which was countered with Flamethrower.

Since the start of the match, Shelgon was in the same place while Clefairy moved around the entire battlefield.

A pink mist swept out of her body and covered the entire field within a few seconds.

'Any second now' thought Aoki as misty terrain covered the entire field.

That mist reduced the power of dragon pokemon to half and protects all Pokemon from any status condition.

The only way to get rid of the mist is to use the wind to get rid of it but that was out of the option for Shelgon. Shelgon wanted to use the move Draco meteor but in its current condition, it was impossible.

Shelgon did not give up and kept using Flamethrower, Flower blast and other dragon-type moves.

Indulging Clefairy in physical battle was useless as she could just fly away moreover Shelgon's speed was now at the bottom of the party.

Clefairy's repulsive power was a big hassle too as if Shelgon did not use full power in every move, it would be repelled.

Overall Clefairy was the most versatile Pokemon in Aoki's team.

'How come no one ever realized the terrifying potential of Clefairy? I can't imagine the power level Clefary would attain after evolution to Clefable'

It was shocking to see people use Clefairy as mere pets and idols whereas they can be trained to be a terrifying monster.

Clefairy closed her eyes and multiple pink orbs formed around her arms and went toward Shelgon exploding.

That was Dazzling Gleam which finished the battle.
