Chapter 11 At Del Fuego's Residence

Echo and Mrs. del Fuego sent Teacher Maria to her apartment.

"Thank you, Tita. Thank you Echo," she said while waving goodbye to them. She was so grateful to meet these amazing and kind-hearted people.

She opened and entered her apartment already.

Meanwhile.. while traveling back home, Mrs. del Fuego kept on smiling. She was so happy meeting Teacher Maria. She wanted her to be her son's girlfriend and eventually his wife. She liked this young lady so much. It seemed that she can change his son to being a playboy. She wanted her son to marry already and gave her lots of beautiful grandchildren.

Having only one child is a blessing yet she longed for more children than which she hadn't experienced due to her sensitive pregnancy. Her husband Mr. del Fuego decided not to have any babies after she almost got 50/50 and almost lost her life when she gave birth to their son Jericho. Her husband loved her so much and she knew about it.

She was too excited to share the news with her husband. Echo on the other side was so fond of his mother's reaction towards Maria. She seemed to like her so much which also made him happy.

At first, he was just challenged by Teacher Maria as she was a different version of previous women being linked to him. After meeting and dating Maria, Echo hadn't entertained any girls anymore. He only wished Maria to be his date and he wanted to see her most of the time.

"What's the magic behind her eyes? What's in it with her making him long for her all the time?" he used to ask himself since he met her the first time.

Her charisma almost caught his mother as well. He knew that his mother will tickle him always. He smiled knowing how spoiled his mother was with his father. His father can't say no to his mother.

He grew up with these two loving parents and he longed for a sibling before. Perhaps he sought attention from those women who flirted with him before.

But now, he only thinks of Maria, his Teacher Maria. He liked her so much and he wanted to pursue her. He had never pursued any women before, they were the ones who flirted with him. Maria is different. She is one of a kind and Echo calls her "His Rare Angel."

"Honey, guess what? I've met our future daughter-in-law already," Mrs. del Fuego almost yelled at her husband with her excitement.

Mr. del Fuego almost throw up his coffee from his mouth after he heard his wife.

"Future Daughter in Law?" he asked.

"Yeah. Our dear son introduced her to me earlier. I liked her," she said.

Echo was almost laughing seeing how his mother excitedly reported to his father.

"She's not yet my girlfriend Mom. We are just getting to know each other first," he said.

"Oh, my dear son. Don't lose her. She's a good girl. I find her pure and innocent. Don't hurt her okay," Mrs. del Fuego reminded Echo.

Echo suddenly had some thought from his mother's words, " Pure and innocent," he said to himself.

"I should not ruin her," he had these thoughts. Even if he was known as a notorious playboy Bachelor in town, he hadn't taken someone's virginity for his safety reason and also he respects virgin women. It reminds him of her mother. She was respected and loved by his father and he wanted to have a wife almost the same as her mother.

"By the way Honey, please do invite Maria to our family dinner this coming weekend. I want your Dad to meet our future daughter-in-law okay," his mother told him.

"You want her to be your daughter-in-law Mom?" he asked while smiling. He loved his mother's proposal then.

He finds nothing wrong with Maria being his girlfriend and his future wife as well. Perhaps, she can be a great wife. Besides he is already at his marriage age and his mother used to nag him to give her grandchildren.

"Of course, I like her as my future daughter-in-law. Compared with those women who flirted with you, I find her as the most capable one to be Mrs. del Fuego like me," his mother was exaggerated talking to him and his father.

They find his mother s spoiled girl wanting to get her favorite doll. Both Echo and his father nodded to her.

The servants already served their dinner at their dining table and they enjoyed their dinner laughing and sharing lots of stories.

Echo was very happy with his parents. Thinking of Maria, this family table will soon be happier.

"Whew, I can't wait for many grandchildren joining with us here at our table," Mrs. del Fuego said.

"Alright, I can't wait to see and meet Maria," Mr. del Fuego said to Echo.

He was so happy seeing how his beloved wife liked this young lady named Maria. He was now curious and eager to meet her. She seemed to capture his wife's meticulous and sensitive taste for women being linked to their son. She used to nag Echo before on his flings and humored girlfriends, but Echo hadn't introduced anyone to them yet, especially to his mother.

It's only MAria whom he introduced to his mother and he will be glad to meet this young lady who seemed to capture his son's playful heart as well. He thought that this young girl, Maria, can tame their son already.

"Alright Mom and Dad, I'll invite her this weekend," he said and continued eating already.

"Great, I'll let our cook serves her our very special menu. I'll prepare for her visit then," Mrs. del Fuego excitedly announced her plans to them.

They were all in a good mood.

Echo messaged Maria before he goes to bed," Good night My Rare Angel," he sent his message already.

Maria was already asleep and hadn't read Echo's good night message.

Echo waited for Maria's reply. It was his second message to her and she seemed not to reply to his messages.

He smiled before he closed his eyes. He is happy with Marie and with his parent's reaction to her as well. It seemed that he won't be having any worries if she will become his girlfriend.
