Chapter 15 Final Day Of Teachers' Conference

It's the third and final day of the Teachers' Conference. They have free time this morning since almost everyone enjoyed and got drunk on their fun night yesterday. They can have a quick tour today, go on swimming and buy some souvenirs at the nearby Souvenir Stores for their loved ones and branch staff.

Teacher Maria woke up from the ringtone of her mobile phone. Teacher Carla is calling her, "Hey wake up Teacher Maria, it's nice to swim this early. Come on let's enjoy the pool."

"Alright, I will be there later. Did you have your breakfast already?" she asked.

"Yup, I had ng early breakfast already. I will be waiting for you at the pool ok," Teacher Carla said.

Ding...

Someone's knocking on her door.

Teacher Maria wrapped her bathrobe before opening her door. She will have to take a bath later and wear her bikini.

"Yes," she said while tieing her robe upon door opening.

When she saw who was her visitor, she froze.

"Good morning Maria. Let's have our breakfast at the pool," Echo greeted her.

He is wearing khaki shorts and a plain shirt making him look so fresh and clean

"Good morning," she replied. I will just take a bath first. Mind if you wait for me?" she said politely while sending Echo to a coffee table on the balcony. He only nodded and said, "I'll just wait for you here, take your time."

"It will be quick," Teacher Maria said.

"Are you going to swim," Echo asked her while making his coffee as if he is in his suit. "You want some coffee, I'll make one for you after you take a bath."

"Okay, wait for me then," Teacher Maria hurriedly went to the bathroom and take a quick bath.

Teacher Maria wore her royal blue bikini already then topped it with her yellow floral spaghetti strap dress wherein her luminous skin was very much exposed. She attracts her men co-teachers when she walked in front of them making Echo grit his teeth. She matched her look with her summer hat and big round shades. She looked like a model ramping on the runway when she walks.

Both Teacher Maria and Echo went to the poolside and had their breakfast. There is an open dining area there. Echo ordered an ala carte of Ham and Swiss Omelet, Sausage and Crescent Roll Casserole, and Bruch-Style Portobello Mushrooms for their main course. He also ordered Cucumber Lemonade Juice for Teacher Maria and Butterscotch Coffee for him.

Both enjoyed their breakfast. Suddenly Teacher Carla wearing her two-piece red bikini approached them and invited them to swim. She's been waiting for teacher Maria for about an hour already, only to find out that she is having breakfast with Mr. del Fuego already.

"Good morning Mr. del Fuego, mind if you and Ariane join us in the pool? We are having fun there," she invited Mr. del Fuego so that teacher Maria with come with her already.

"I won't swim. Maria, you join them. I will just watch you here," he said. He doesn't have any intention to join swimming with Teacher Maria in their company affair. He has a plan of bringing Teacher Maria over the weekend from one of his resorts in Batangas. He wants to be with Teacher Maria alone.

"I'll go ahead. Thank you for the breakfast," Teacher Maria said.

Echo. nodded at them as if saying go ahead and enjoy.

Teacher Maria and Teacher Carla walked near the pool already. "You have to take off your dress already. I know there's a bikini inside, right? Show off your hidden treasure then haha," Teacher Carla teased Teacher Maria. She knew how sexy Teacher Maria is even though she gave birth already. "Let the lions roar haha," she exclaimed.

Teacher Maria smiled and let her summer dress fall. She put her hat and sunglasses on the bench and the two of them started to dip into the pool. Echo froze when he saw how flawless and sexy Teacher Maria is. She doesn't look like a nerd and conservative already. Seems like she has a perfect body of an 18-year-old lady. He almost swallowed the coffee he is sipping on.

"Hell, I hate how his male colleagues fantasized her now," he can't help but to bad mouth. He is controlling himself not to dive into the pool and pull Teacher Maria. He is gritting his teeth while keeping an eye on his woman. "I should have not allowed her in the first place to wear her bikini," he said to himself and started to walk near the pool already.

"I told you, sis, the lions are now roaring haha. And look who is coming with us," Teacher Carla said to Teacher Maria while pointing her mouth to Mr. del Fuego who is rushing toward them. He has a dark face already as if he wants to hit somebody.

Echo gets the towel from the bench and calls her, "Maria come here," he said without smiling. Other delegates who were in the pool kept quiet then.

Teacher Maria was stupefied. She was just starting to enjoy the water and having fun. Why is it this man calling her? "Get out of the pool now," he commanded her.

"Hey, I just starting to enjoy the water with Teacher Carla," she explained.

"Shhh! Just obey him. It's okay," Teacher Carla said to her gigglingly.

Echo can't explain himself also why is he acting this way. He just can't control himself. It is as though he doesn't want other men to see teacher Maria's body especially wearing this bikini. He thinks that he is having a headache and wanted to punch each man looking at her.

When Teacher Maria started to come near him and go up, Echo held her waist and put a towel to cover her body," Let's go back to your room, change your clothes and I will tour you around," he said.

Teacher Maria walked with Echo then. She doesn't want to have any arguments with him. Her colleagues' eyes follow them while they are leaving. Some are wondering what's the relationship between the two. Some are just minding their own business.

Teacher Carla on the other corner is so happy watching the two leaving. They look like love birds. Two beautiful couples being together.

They both headed to Teacher Maria's suite and as per Echo's request, she changed her wardrobe into red shorts and a white shirt. He toured here in nearby places in Cebu. Echo rent a cab for their tour and acted as a tourist guide, Teacher Maria. He wanted her to enjoy his company while they still have a few more hours left to stroll before their flight back to Manila tonight. They went to Magellan's Cross, which is one of the most important historical markers in Cebu City. Fort San Pedro, is the oldest fort in the Philippines. Each place has a story and Echo never gets tired of sharing each story with her. Teacher Maria does appreciate the effort and time being given to her by Echo.

This last part of their Teacher's conference is very memorable to her. Echo occupied the lazy hours of their time. They continue to stroll and Echo still shares some stories from one place to another. He is so knowledgeable and she was amazed how Echo knew everything from these places.

"We save a lot from having a tourist guide. You seemed to know everything from beautiful places here in Cebu, "Teacher Maria said happily to him.

"You can just pay me later from my service for you today. I am honored to be your tour guide my Angel," Echo bowed while replying to Teacher Maria.

"We shall pay a visit to give our respect at Basilica Minore del Santo Nino de Cebu. It is where you can see the revered flemish statuette of the Santo Nino," he said to her.

Echo is so fond of Teacher Maria's reaction every time he introduced the story of each place. She is so amazed and listens well to his story. He used to have a photo op with Teacher Maria. They have lots of selfies and his mobile phone's gallery is almost consumed.

It is near dark already and Echo asked her to have dinner at The Pyramid, which is a restaurant inspired by the Louvre Museum. They both enjoyed their dinner and have some photos from their last destination. Teacher Maria is so exhausted that she almost can't walk. Her feet are both pained already.

When Echo saw that Teacher Maria is quite walking hard, he settled back in front of Maria and he carried her on his back going to the cab. Upon entering the cab, he took off Maria's sandals and slowly massage her foot one after the other.

"No," she is quite hesitant and trying to pull out his feet but Echo didn't let go of her feet. he continued to massage then up to the back of her legs.

"Stay. Let me massage your feet. It will make you comfortable before we reach the Hotel. Your blood vessels are already tired and stiff okay," he said while looking at her with concern.

Upon arrival at the Hotel, Maria's feet and legs felt better already and she can walk comfortably. Echo sends her to her suite and kissed her on her forehead.

"Thanks, Echo," she said to her.

Teacher Maria's POV.

How can she offend this man who never treats her badly? Her heart is pounding so hard every time he is near.

"Okay, thanks again," she said.

During this conference, they were mutually getting along with each other. It brings closeness to the two of them.

A few moments later...

Ding...

The doorbell rings...

Echo is at her door already and going to fetch her.

They both went to the Cebu Airport via cab rented by Echo. They didn't join the shuttle bus being rented by Teacher Maria's school.

Echo took care of Maria's luggage and they both checked in at the airport.

Upon boarding at the airline, Echo's seat is beside Maria as usual.

He never wants to lose Maria from his side and sight. It is as though this woman is his precious belonging. He liked Maria more after this conference and he is looking forward to serving her in the future.

Teacher Maria on the other hand is quite excited to go home.

Echo then held Maria's hand after they settled from their seats. Holding her hands like this makes him feel that this woman belongs to him and no one can take her away from him.

Maria is somewhat used to being accustomed to Echo's actions every time they were together and she doesn't want to refute anymore. She doesn't want to be a hypocrite but she also likes being with him. She felt, she knew him more after the conference and he is descent and 100% gentleman.
