Endless combat

An adorable, small and fluffy white rabbit was standing there, this was the monster that had stepped out of the cage, it stood like a normal rabbit, perking up its ears and looking around, its red eyes were but a common feature for white rabbits, nothing seemed strange or unusual about it.

Its unassuming appearance was what had first allowed him to bring down great foes with ease, it had no specific name for it was but a normal rabbit, the most common title given to the small creature that had massacred many was that of Killer Rabbit.

It demonstrated its might without losing any time as it seemed to rise into the air, as if something was carrying it though the air, flying in an instant through the venerer's head and blowing it to pieces.

The tall monster stumbled for a bit before its head regrew fully, only for it to receive a hole right through its chest, wide enough to split its body in two, the grey monster regenerated in no time once again.

Despite having went right through something's body, the white rabbit was barely stained with the creature's blood for it didn't possess much at all, it went on for a while, the venerer would be blown to pieces only to come back intact in a few seconds.

However, after an hour of this repetition, something new happened, as the rabbit dug into the lanky monster's chest, it was suddenly stopped as if it had encountered something much harder, stopping it in its track.

The venerer grabbed the killer rabbit's while body with both of its hand and slammed it into the ground, breaking the soil and raising a large amount of dust.

Nothing happened for a single second before the thin monster's head once again exploded after the rabbit flew through it, despite its obscene agility and speed, the killer rabbit was also an absolute wall, even an arch-paladin direct strike with a mace couldn't do more than push it back.

The killer rabbit wasn't a creature of legend like demons with their demon kings and queens that needed to be defeated by a chosen hero, like devils that resided in hell, angels that resided in heaven, it wasn't a being with any kind of ruling title and it didn't appear in any scripture, running into the killer rabbit was nothing more than a stroke of bad luck, it had never mattered who it was who had ran into it, they had all died or wounded deeply enough to never operate again in any way, fate couldn't protect anyone against the white rabbit.

In this sense, both of the monsters were similar, they weren't of the grand scheme of things, they were either nothing more than something in the world without any relevance or they had their own scheme, one only a few would participate in.

The fight went on for a long time, the venator had to actually go away and find food as it was absolutely unending, the area had been destroyed, the flora was annihilated and the fauna had ran away, far from here, despite the fact that the venerer had very few liters of blood, the ground was stains by it.

The more the fight went on, the less times did the grey monster receive any strike, being able to smack the killer rabbit in the air, sending it flying away at enough speed to kill an elephant, despite that, none of the two monsters had received any true injury.

The rabbit was too resistant and the venerer regenerated it all.

Still, from an outsider's perspective, it would seem like the venerer would eventually win, if it continued to grow in power, it should be able to, at one point, wound the rabbit, however, there was no telling if the venerer could continue to regenerate for enough time to achieve this level of strength.

Their fight had en eerie nature to hit, has none of the two made any noise, only their strikes made any, it was as if they were just two marionettes being pulled by their strings.

The killer rabbit was also growing in intensity, it almost seemed as though it had stopped touching the ground at all and was just flying around, the rabbit was trying to overcome its foes ungodly regeneration without success.

Multiple days passed as the fight never stopped and of course, it attracted some attention.

"What the hell is happenning here?" questionned Marhar as he arrived on the scene, walking up to the three venators.

"Ah, if it isn't the Marhar of the Sun Bearers, as you can see, the monster that massacred the city is in a bit of a scuffle with the killer rabbit" answered Alaham.

"..."

"You brought the killer rabbit?" asked the red-robed man, not believing that anyone would do such a thing willingly.

"Yep and as you can see, it's not going as expected" answered the old venator.

"I would have gladly burned that grey monster down fully so that it wouldn't regenerate but with the killer rabbit here, I wouldn't risk it" said Marhar.

Meanwhile Misot was laying on her back, still dealing with her headache and Vorl was thinking back on his past decisions.

"Weird to see a Sun Bearer alone, are there no teammates of yours around?" asked Alaham as he watched the venerer, slam the killer rabbit into the ground and then repeatedly jump on it.

"She is off to get a certain someone" responded Marhar.

"Since we're here, do you guys have anything on the monster?" he then asked.

At this point, no one cared about the fact that Alaham wanted the venators to do the job themselves, even the old venator had abandoned that idea after seeing the killer rabbit kick the venerer's head off.

"Will your teammate be here soon?" asked Vorl after a while of exchanging information.

"Hard to say, we decided for someone to go get that person after seeing the mess that was happening here from afar, there is no telling how long it could take to find the person in question" he responded truthfully.

"But at least, my other teammates should get there soon" he added on afterwards.

The venerer seemed a bit strange right now, no one could put their finger on what created this feeling but everyone present could feel that something big was about to happen soon.

As that feeling intensified, a certain being gazed upon the scene, despite him wanting to intervene, he couldn't abandon his current duties, he could only hope for the best.
