Out of curiosity and mischief, Titus sneaks out of the Academy and the Inner City to visit the Slums. There he met a former hitman who taught him the way of the Slums.

When Mia Elliot's body turned up in the wastelands near the Slums, Titus vows to find and punish the ones responsible for her gruesome death. Some digging revealed the Parliament's involvement and human experimentation.

Khronos nodded at Io in approval, looking smug. “That’s when I’ll be making everyone watch the evidence.” 


He then shot me a look. “You better not back out of it. We only have one shot to make this work. Go for Arvin first. We have his location. Promise or no promise, duty comes first. If anything, I’ll deal with Sable after.” 


Rush agreed. “My men and I will be sweeping his daughter away from those bodyguards so you better make that one shot count for all it’s worth. The moment he comes out of hiding, you strike without holding back. I’ll make sure she doesn’t interfere with the operation so don’t hesitate when you have the chance.”
