Chapter 10--Split Chapter

(Siobhan’s P.O.V)

We reconvened at our hotel suite with Camilla and Anders, and it didn’t come as a shock that they didn’t really find much at the crime scenes they had visited today. When Preston explained what he felt at the Johnson home, Camilla and Anders were shocked to say the least.

“I need to go back to Eferhile and ask King Bayard for access to the royal archives. I know there are documents there that would have the information we need.” Preston says.

“Okay, we’ll get you to the portal at Hallowed Manes. It’ll drop you in Màni but I know that Tiernan can get in touch with either Luna Queen Morrigan or Alpha King Rian to let them know that you will be coming through their portal.” I state, picking up my phone to call Patrick.

“I wish there were more Fae clans here in the Human Realm, it would be so much easier to portal right into Eferhile.” Preston pouts.

“Not my fault you Fae are so in love with the Lunar Realm,” I say with a laugh.

After a few rings, Patrick answers his phone, his voice holding a slight edge to it like I’m bothering him.

“Beta Patrick, we need to use the packs portal to Màni. Preston needs to get back to the Lunar Realm and to Eferhile because he found something that is concerning when we visited the cub’s family at their sleuth.” I state, professionally.

“Oh, so I’m Beta Patrick now? Well, Agent Williams, I will speak to my Alpha about granting Preston permission to use the portal. He will need to get in touch with the Luna Queen and Alpha King.”

“I understand. Thank you for your help, Beta.” I say, snidely.

Without offering a goodbye to Patrick, I hung up the phone. Fucking rude ass bitch.

(Tiernan’s P.O.V)

After dream walking into Siobhan’s nightmare, Steele has been pacing in my head, growling like some feral beast. He wants blood, specifically from this Wyatt person. I knew I was going to have to ask Patrick about this dude so I can find the pride he belongs to. Just as I’m thinking about finding him, Patrick shows up in my office. He flops down in the chair across from me, throwing his feet up on my desk. I can’t help but narrow my eyes at his dirty shoes on my clean desk.

“Can I help you?” I ask through gritted teeth.

“Si called. One of her team members, Preston, apparently found something when they visited the sleuth and he needs to get to the Lunar Realm. She asked for your permission to use our portal to Màni since there’s no Fae colony here.”

“I’ll get ahold of the Alpha King for his permission for entry and ask for an escort for Preston to Eferhile.”

“Thanks bro,” Patrick states, starting to get up from his chair.

“Wait, I have a question for you. About Siobhan.”

“Not sure if I will have an answer but sure.”

“Do you know anything about her being in a relationship with a werecat, tiger shifter to be specific? His name was Wyatt.”

Patrick takes a moment before answering, “No. I don’t remember her mentioning anything about having a boyfriend while she was gone.”

“Did she mention anything about being…raped?” I whisper.

Patrick’s eyes went wide and then his pupils narrowed into slits, his irises turning black. His wolf.

“What do you mean she was raped!?” His wolf, Toran, growls out.

“I somehow was able to dream walk into a nightmare she had last night. It was so vivid; it was like she could feel their hands on her. It was more than one person; Wyatt and two friends it seems.” I murmur.

Patrick knew of my powers, he knew of my family’s bloodline, as did his father. The anger radiating off of Patrick and Toran was almost suffocating, I needed to get him under control.

“Beta, I need you to calm down. Toran, give Patrick back control.” I command, using my Alpha tone.

“Thanks, dude, Toran was ready for blood,” Patrick says, his eyes turning back to their normal hazel color.

“Do you think your parents would know?” I inquire.

“Maybe, do you want me to get them here?”

“Yeah, go grab them while I call the Alpha King.”

Patrick leaves the office as I grab my intra-realm phone to call the Alpha King about access to the portal. The phone call goes off without a hitch and Alpha King Rian agrees to allow Preston onto pack territory and have an escort for him to Eferhile. Though I don’t think he’s to fond of his mate, Luna Queen Morrigan, being the escort because she wants to go and see her parents. She’s pregnant with their first child and I’ve heard that Alpha King Rian has become extraordinarily protective of her and their little pup. As I’m finishing off the phone call, Patrick arrives with his parents, Shelly and Derrick.

“Shelly, Derrick please have a seat.” I say, indicating to the seats in front of me.

“What is it that you need Alpha? Patrick said it had to do with Siobhan?” Shelly asks.

“Did she ever discuss being in a relationship with either of you? Possibly with a tiger shifter named Wyatt?” I ask.

Derrick and Shelly look at one another, and a small amount of fear passes between the two of them.

“Yes, Alpha. We knew that she was in a relationship with Wyatt.” Derrick answers.

“Did you know that he raped her along with two friends?” I ask, trying to contain my anger.

“WHAT!?” Shelly and Derrick yell in unison, standing upright so quickly that their chairs are flung backward.

Derrick is growling, his eyes black as his wolf begins to take over, while Shelly is sobbing. Her legs give out and she slumps to the floor, sobbing into her hands.

“DERRICK! Enough!” I command.

Patrick is holding his mother, doing his best to comfort her but his own anger is palpable.

“Do you know Wyatt’s last name?”

“No, she never told us a last name, nor do we know what pride he is from,” Derrick growls.

“Thank you, Siobhan will be coming to the pack with her team to use the portal to Màni,” I inform them.

Derrick and Shelly nod, before leaving the room.

“Will you be able to control your anger when you come face-to-face with her? We don’t need you turning into the human fireball.”

“Yes, I’ll be fine,” I state.

Patrick nods his head and leaves the office, when the door shuts, I begin to feel the blackness dancing across my skin, across my heart, and I knew what was going to happen.

Here I come, grandpa.
