33 Zhao dungeon

On reaching Zhao dungeon,the three stood far away staring at the place they had to pass through. After the dungeon was their final destination,Lu Forest. To get there,passing through the dungeon was required but at the same time,a deadly mission.

At the entrance of the dungeon,lied a dragon. Protector of the everyplace that started from where it resided. The human had hunted down the dragons years back,risking their lives. Everyone were curious about what was there after the dungeon. Why it was a place one shouldn't visit and why did they have to place a dragon to watch over?what are they hiding?

Back then,to avoid unpleasant situation,no one ever went through the mountain. Those who thought history was bluffing decided to pass through there. But the outcome,they regretted it until they died. They experienced a great Trauma. There was a way to go to the dungeon but after blood shed,all of a sudden,no path. It was as if the path disappeared. No one ever dared to try such stunt that was pulled ages ago.

"Deadly mission. Mission 102. No survival."mumbled Jasmine softly

"Did you say something?"asked Cheng.

"No"

"Let's brace ourselves enough before heading that way." stated Shang before settling on the ground.

After that awful incident that occurred earlier,they hadn't spoken much to each other. Cheng decided to give them enough space after comforting them a little. Though he was curious about Min. She screamed earlier that she didn't kill her. Who? what made her so traumatized?most importantly,who is the her? Princess Min never had friends,was never close to someone except he and Cheng and now Nuan,so..

"Cheng,Cheng,are you alright?" called Shang repeatedly.

"I'm fine,why?"

"You zoned out for a moment and didn't hear me calling you",said Shang with Jasmine who stared at him.

"I'm fine,just thinking about stuff",said Cheng.

"Oh,okay. Take a rest. Let's replenish our lost energy so as to face the upcoming...."

Cheng cut him off and said, "Yes,yes. I've heard,take a rest also."

Very next morning,at dawn,they set off to pass through the great and awaited dungeon. The most scary pass as folks says. After they eat,they headed towards the direction

Tip toeing in other to not make noise as they weren't aware whether it was just one dragon that resides in there. Though Zheng said so,he still told them to be careful.

All of a sudden, they heard a sound and they froze instantly. Truth be told,Jasmine was shaken,started getting scared and Cheng pulled her closer to him and rubbed her back. Looking down,they saw it was the little metallic box that was handed to them by Zheng. He asked them to pluck a flower for him and store it inside the box. And now,the box fell from the bag. Jeez.

After staying in a spot for some minutes,they took each steps with care but all of a sudden,they heard a scream,at their side stood a giant dragon in black colour. No other colour could be seen on its body. It was huge with golden eyes,how cool but no time to even describe it's features because at his left hand or is it foot,aish. It held Shang on his waist. It was as if Shang was like a paper. Light like a feather that didn't weigh a thing. How it even took Shang, without anyone noticing was a mystery.

Few minutes ago

After they decided to unfreeze themselves and walk again,Shang caught a sight of something. Turning to look at it,he saw eyes. Eyes with golden colour and instantly,he was pulled up into the sky. Dangling.

"Heyyy",screamed Jasmine at the dragon but didn't get a single reaction from it. The dragon looked at Jasmine as if it was belittling her. It was to be honest. Looking to her side,she saw Cheng. He was looking at the dragon strangely and not saying a word.

"Cheng,what should we do?"questioned Jasmine.

Looking her Min,he replied, "fight it before it kills Shang."

"How to fight a dragon?cause I simply got no idea. This isn't a movie or a novel were killing a dragon is like a piece of cake,this is reality. Or maybe not. It ain't even reality. This is a fucking,freaking novel were the script depends on the characters. A book where we decide our own fates ourselves to survive."Stated Jasmine frustratedly.

"That was a long speech but just know,we have to save ourselves." Replied Cheng and took his weapon up into his hand.

Though he now knew he could turn to Demon anytime with stress or triggers,he was still doubtful. Was he as powerful as he was before?and one thing they had to make sure of was not to kill the dragon. How ironic. The dragon could kill them off but they,they can't. The dragon isn't supposed to be killed. The legendary reptilian creature. Killing a dragon literally meant,Killing every soul in the world.

The dragons literally have no concern with any specie. They just know their job,and that is to remove every unwanted guests that wanted to see beyond the dungeon.

"We are going to fight the dragon but not killing it. If you do,just know you are in your own,Min. But you can't even kill so..."

Moving forward to meet the dragon that still held Shang in its hand,they stood in front of it. Looking at it daringly. Only Cheng was able to do that though. Jasmine stood behind him, holding a sword. She was going to bring the little training that was giving to her,into life.

As Cheng move his head tilting it to his left,the dragon did the same thing. Just the way they were curious about it,it was curious about them. He did that again by tilting his head to his right,the dragon did it also. And now Cheng smirked,he knew what to do.
