Jasmine laid on the bed and thought of how she told Cheng everything. She didn't even tell the Cheng that was living in the olden and Modern era about her transmigrating into a book. She fucking told the one living in hell. The one that killed her in her dream. How the hell could she?,what if he was going to kill her after all this?she didn't want to die. She hadn't even make Cheng fall for her yet,that was her mean purpose but instead she had been doing crazy things. It was time to finally make the guy hers. But which of the Chengs does she prefer? The one in the olden era,who was cold as ice,or the one in the modern era,who was also cold but not to her or was it this one that could burn her. All were Cheng but,aishhh but...

Jasmine got on her feet and moved to stare out of the window. The Manor wasn't empty anymore as Cheng had instructed the servants to return into the house. She had asked him why he sent the servants away and he said it was because of privacy. He wanted to talk to her without anyone eavesdropping. He wanted privacy and he got it. At these moment,it was only Jasmine,Cheng and the servants that were in the Manor as Cheng told none of them to return to his home.

The lantern that was lit and placed at the garden was shining bright in the dark and it was then Jasmine caught a sight. She saw a shadow slipping into the garden and that made her terrified. None if the servants were instructed to be in the garden as Cheng had already told them all to reside in their quarter. There wasn't any work today. But this shadow that slipped into the Manor through the garden was an invader. She quickly got out of her room and went to find Cheng in his. Shang also was not in sight as he also was instructed to stay in his chamber. Jasmine tiptoed and went to the side where Cheng's room was. Not so far from hers. She got in without knocking and jammed the door instantly. She looked around the room but didn't see Cheng and that made her worried.

Cheng who was taking a shower earlier had the sound of his door and immediately took hold of his sword. He knew it wasn't Shang that entered as he would have knocked before entering. He wore his attire below and stepped out of the bath,moving to his bedroom. He saw no one in sight and when he walked closer,he saw Jasmin's on his bed breathing heavily, "Jasmine?"called Cheng and Jasmine got up instantly and exclaimed,

"Cheng!there's someone in the Manor."

"What?"

"I saw a shadow slipping into the house from the garden and you've already asked everyone to stay indoors",said Jasmine

"It might be one of the servants or Shang"

"I don-" Jasmine's words were stopped when they heard noise,Screaming. Jasmine looked at Cheng with face filled with horror.

"Calm down,ok? just calm down." Spoke Cheng and took hold of his cloth and slipped into it. He held his sword and looked at Jasmine, "stay here and don't come out",

"What?I can't stay and leave you out there. I can fight",said Jasmine and went to take hold of a sword that was on the rack.

"You aren't doing that,Jasmine. I can't endanger your life. I don't know who are attacking but it's certainly Demons. You can't out take a Demon,"said Cheng

"I can",said Jasmine

"No",

"Okay,No",said Jasmine.

"I'm leaving,stay here and stay safe."said Cheng and went out of the room, locking it.

Jasmine sat on the bed,doing absolute nothing. Since Cheng had left the room,she hadn't heard any noise in the corridor. No sound at all was heard and that made her frightened. Where they captured? but Cheng us a Demon prince so there isn't anyway he could have been captured.

The gown she was putting on,she torn it and made it in a short gown. Picking up two swords,she existed the door. The door which was locked earlier by Cheng,she used pin to unlock it. Stepping out of the room,she walked slowly,not making any noise. She saw no one in sight until she reached the entrance. Every servants were in their knees with Shang also. But there was no Cheng in sight. Where was he?

Her eyeballs widened when she saw someone beheaded. She gasped but a palm was placed on her before it could be heard. She was dragged to a corner,and when she turned to see whosoever it was,she saw that it was Cheng.

"Cheng",she whispered and hugged him

"What are you doing here,I asked you to stay in the room",said Cheng while patting her back

"I couldn't, what's happening?"asked Jasmine after pulling away from the hug.

"Quest of power."

"What?"

"As the future ruler,my siblings have joined hands to eliminate me. They raided here to get the crown",spoke Cheng

"What of your father?won't he come to your aid?"asked Jasmine, clutching on Cheng's cloth. His siblings are after him for the crown. Oh my,The Crown. Whosoever gets the crown shall be the king. Is this the time when Cheng and Shang flee from hell. Was this what happened?

"It's time to show who's more supreme. I might be the chosen one but it doesn't mean that I'm the fittest. The Sire will watch from the side and see who survives",said Cheng

"Where's the crown?",asked Jasmine and Cheng raised a brow

"You want it?"Cheng asked

"No,it's yours but why aren't they searching the Manor?"asked Jasmine. She totally didn't understand why they weren't looking for Cheng anywhere in the Manor.

"Because I lead them into the woods. They thought I have flee but here I am",said Cheng

"ohh,ok,so what's your plan?"

"Leave Hell",

"What?what of me?"

"You are coming along",said Cheng.

"Won't they kill the others?"

"They will but Shang will live because we got this",said Cheng. "Stay behind me",he said and they both went out of their hiding place and made to flee
