The unknown killer
Tina ran out at the sound of her parents car excitedly. hugging both.
"you're welcome!! I have really missed you. she held on to her mother.
"oh! my baby I miss you more than ever but while are you looking so pale? is kemi not cooking for you? she asked her continuously.
"ha! mom I'm not a kid, I can fend for myself.
"your mother is just being over protective, while over there she doesn't let me rest but always shouting...let go home, my daughter will be missing me and so on. I got fed up at some point. Clinton said laughing at his wife.
"darling' you won't understand.
"well mom, I was not feeling fine recently, but I'm getting better now. she said smiling at her.
Priyanka kept questioning her on what she has taken to get well but Tina kept telling her she she is okay now.
"madam what should I bring for you? kemi' asked while arranging food on the dining.
"bring water first I'm so thirsty."
"mom, I joined kemi' to make your favorite food. Tina said twisting her body
"really! that's really good. it shows how truly you missed me.
"so are you then saying she doesn't Miss me. Clinton ask looking at Priyanka who continues to blush .
AT NIGHT
KUNLE APARTMENT
Just as the appointed time. bright arrived at kunle house and they both headed to Tina house on getting to the gate bright becomes uneasy and start questioning kunle.
" wait oo is as if I'm even stupid. how on Earth did I not even ask, how we are going to enter their house with this fence and gate around. he asked looking troubles.
" calm down, me that said you should come haven't I make verification and proper planing before coming here. he told him Hasting him to follow.
"no...oooo ki ni oun so bayii ti ko dun, because I don't understand. what plan is that, that you can't tell me before coming here.
"okay then, fine. he calmed him down.
"we're going to jump through the fence an...
"ehn! (he cut him shut) you say watin? we will jump in there. what if we're caught? you must be kidding. ohhh....why don't I even think of this at first. he began going to and fro.
"you better calm down! if you don't want to be apprehended and you know I told you her father said he might come back anytime soon. and who even know maybe she has told him, but he's not letting me know and probably deciding to come for me immediately he comes. so better think twice now.
"hmm...haaa...ok ooo but what if she's not at home and did you know her room? what if she's not asleep yet? what do we then do. he asked again.
"ha! you asked too much question bright! kilode! well, I know every hook and crannies of their house, I have been coming here regularly so locating her room is not an issue. even the maid would have gone to her house because she do go home every Thursday. he told him dragging him along.
they gets to the other side of building and look around for a big stone or block that could help them up. they checked the uncompleted building beside Clinton house and found two. blocks. they placed it and the fence and kunle climb to view around.
"Thank God the light besides here is put off." he said looking at the side window of the sitting room.
he jumped inside gently beckoning bright to do same. he went to the window and peek if she's there, he didn't see her in which gives him hope that she's is definitely asleep. he tip toe to the back of entrance to their kitchen and found out it was opened.
"ha! how did you know it will be opened. he said exclaiming.
"keep quiet! I know they don't lock this place, I told you I have been here severally na. he quietly said holding bright hand.
They get to the sitting room and quickly hide themselves behind the couch.
"this thing I use in covering myself face is inching me oo. bright said aggressively adjusting the face mask to another side.
"better calm down... now, let go... her room is over their. is the first before her parents own. just be at alert whatever it may be don't panic, I say don't panic.
they tip toe to the door opening it immediately and to their joy she is already asleep. kunle brought out his dagger but bright signal to him not to use it, instead they should pressed her neck to death. kunle nod in agreement and jumped on her with a pillow case covering her face bright hold her leg why kunle strangled her to death.
kunle stood up immediately bright told him she's not shaking again. they headed out gently looking here and there.
they ran downstairs and heard a female voice.
"I'm the one!!
their heart skip at a time running behind the curtain.
"ha! aye mi oo . bright said silently fidgeting.
"shut up!! kunle pinched him.
they ran to the kitchen after checking and see no one. he went to the gate and opened the small gate with a spare key quietly leaving it opened after running out.
"ha!! Jesus I almost freak out. bright was breathing as fast like an antelope.
"chai! this is not easy at all, I never knew someone else is in the house. kunle said gasping for breath.
"it must definitely be that girl...ehm..the maid.
"you're right! huh!!!. bright eyes popped out and grab bright shoulder.
"what is it, don't injure me. he fling off his hands.
"my boss is around!!!! he is around. ha!!! he is the one definitely calling the lady. he began tremble passing up and down.
"is that why you are like this. don't worry, since we are not caught. then let be happy and glad.

NEXT DAY. MORNING
CLINTON APARTMENT
the sitting room is full of people who came to console Clinton and his daughter.
"ha!!!!! my precious mother! who did this to me!!!!. funke rolling on the floor crying profusely.
the policeman that was called came in and called Clinton aside consoling him and asking him questions.
"Mr Clinton. it's well, you just have to take heart. in this case it's just so terrible that we couldn't even fathom how possible a deadly scene like this could occur without you knowing. for the fact that you are even at home. how come? he asked him.
"I don't even know what to say right now. I can't still understand how it all happened. how the gate was left opened without us knowing is really so strange to me.
"hmmm... how come it was your wife that was strangled in your room. didn't you slept together?
"we went to bed together. because after we arrived yesterday she was tired that unlike her she went to bed early. this incident occurs just when I was in my study room for some minutes and came back seeing her lifeless on the bed. he said to him with a heavy heart trying to control the outburst of tears piling in his eyes.
They went inside and a call came in from the doctor in which Clinton was informed that an autopsy as been done and it was seen that she was strangled.
"strangled what?! Clinton shouted ending the call.
Tina rushed up to hee father screaming.
"who strangled my mother? how is she strangled? somebody should tell me!!
