Chapter 24

After driving for an hour they entered a large Villa in the most luxurious estate in the city. It was a,place for only the richest and most influential people in the city since the cheapest villa in Fontainebleau cost around a 100 million dollars.

"Welcome home sister in law", Johnny shouted once they got of the car, Alicia came out of the car and looked at the large mansion in front of her.

"So this is going to be my new home", she thought looking around her.

"Come on let's go in", Ria said carrying some of Alicia's bags

They all carried Alicia's luggage and took it into the house. Ria took her straight to Nathan's room and they all helped her arrange all her things. A while after they were done Susan and Sarah left, Johnny also left because he got a call from his agency, Stacy also went back to the old mansion and Ria got a call from her husband that he was back from his trip, so she left with her son.

Alicia spent the whole day familiarizing herself with the Villa, she spoke with her parents and siblings for a long time and had just dropped the phone when she heard a car drive into the villa. A while later the door opened and Nathan entered

"Welcome", she greeted from where she was sitting

"Uhh un", Nathan replied and went upstairs to his room.

Alicia watched him go up the stairs not knowing what to do. She was hungry since she hadn't eaten anything the whole day, she couldn't cook without any help so she didn't even make an attempt to cook anything.

A while later Nathan came back down and went to the kitchen, she followed him wondering what he wanted to do.

"Have you eaten", He asked her

Alicia looked stunned for a while before replying

"No", Nathan nodded and brought out the ingredients twenty minutes later he had whipped up dinner he served them both and began eating. Alicia took the first bite then turned to stare at him. She kept on looking at him and Nathan finally looked up from his food after feeling her gaze

"What", he asked

"Where did you learn how to cook, this is so delicious", She said.

He looked at her and continued eating without answering her question and Alicia also quietly finished her food. After they were done they both went back to the room and prepared for bed. That night Alicia and Nathan slept on either sides of the bed without any interactions.

The morning sun shone brightly into the room and Nathan opened his eyes, he turned to the other side of the bed and looked at the woman he just married she was still fast asleep.

He got up from the bed and went to his private gym for his morning exercise, when he came back Alicia was still sleeping, "She is still sleeping. Its already so late doesn't she have to go to college today. Such a lazy bone" he murmured and went into the bathroom to shower. A few minutes later Alicia opened her eyes and looked at the time on the wall clock.

"Its already 9 am, darn it am late for college", she yelled and jumped up from the bed.

She ran to the bathroom door and tried opening it but realized it was locked from the inside. She looked at the bed and saw it empty

"Nathan is in the bathroom", she murmured

"Nathan, Nathan,", she yelled but didn't receive an answer. She banged on the door for a while longer but still didn't receive a response

"Bully", she yelled, picked up her towel and ran to another room to take a bath.

When she came back she saw the mean bully standing in front of the mirror fully dressed. She went up to him and stood in front of him, Nathan glanced at her and continued with what he was doing

"Didn't you hear me banging the door, why didn't you answer" she asked glaring at him

"I didn't think it was important to", Nathan replied

Alicia looked at him perplexed and said

"Are you kidding me right now, you didn't think it was important to answer. Do you think I would be banging the door like that if it wasn't important",

"And if you woke up early why didn't you wake me up, you even switched off my alarm"

"The alarm kept in ringing and you wouldn't stand up so I switched it off. And when did it become my responsibility to wake you up, can't you do that yourself" Nathan said picked up his suit jacket and walked out of the room

"Nathan Collins", Alicia yelled and went to get ready for college. A few minutes later she was ready and she zoomed out of the house in her car.

"I am so damn late",

"Hey babe, why are you so late", Zia asked immediately she entered her class.

"Where is the professor", Alicia asked her.

"She isn't here yet the exam has been postponed to 11am", Zia replied

"Aah, such a relief", Alicia said taking a seat.

"Why were you late Alicia", Zia asked again. Alicia looked at her remembering she hasn't told her friends about her marriage.

"I woke up late", Alicia answered

"That's unusual what of your alarm", Zia said

"Some stupid crow switched it off", Alicia said remembering her stupid husband that caused her to be late.

"A stupid Crow, who is that", Zia asked confused

"I will tell you after the exams Zia, let's go prepare for the papers", Alicia said and pulled her into the class.

Three hours later, the two of them came out of the hall and went to the cafeteria, they met Zack and Jay sitting at their usual table.

"Hey girls", Jay said.

"Hi guys", Alicia replied and they both took a seat.

"Alicia someone called me two nights ago and asked me questions about you", Zack said

"Who", Alicia asked.

"My brother's best friend, Nathan Collins" he said

Alicia looked surprised but Jay and Zia were more than shocked.

"Who did you just say asked about Alicia Zack", Zia asked

"Nathan Collins, CEO of Lance Inc", Zack replied and they all turned to Alicia

"Alicia I know your family is wealthy and influential but where did you know Nathan Collins from. The Nathan Collins",

"He was my first love. Believe me if he even as much as ask me out I won't think twice before abandoning your brother", Zia said and Alicia looked at her in shock.

"Well he can't look at you so stop dreaming sweetheart", Jay said laughing

"Answer us Alicia, how do you know him", Zack said

"He is my husband", Alicia dropped the bombshell

"WHAAAAAATTTTTT" The three shouted and everyone in the cafeteria looked in their direction.

"Are you dreaming Alicia or just pulling our legs", Zack asked

"How can you be married to Nathan Collins, when, where" Zia asked

"Guys don't you know Alicia this is probably one of her numerous jokes, right", Jay said but Alicia wasn't laughing.

"Are you seriously married to Nathan Collins", Zack said coming to sit beside her.

"Yes"

"When" Jay asked

"Yesterday",

"How" Zack asked her

"An arranged marriage"

"So was the stupid Crow you were referring to earlier Nathan Collins", Zia asked

"Yes" Alicia replied again.

"This is so shocking. My friend is now the Young Madam of the Collins household. You are a darling Alicia, do you know you have just struck a jackpot baby" Zia said

"But how did the Marriage get arranged and when" she asked

"It got arranged sixty years ago" she replied

"Are you crazy Alicia, even your father wasn't born then" Zia said

"The agreement was made by my grandfather and Raymond Collins. The both of them were childhood friends"

"The agreement was for both their children to get married but it couldn't push through so they moved it to their grandchildren and here we are" Alicia said.

"Wow, so you are married to brother Nathan, do I have to call you sister in law from now on then" Zack said.

"My marriage to Nathan has nothing to do with our friendship, call me what you have always called me" Alicia said

"But what I don't understand is why there wasn't a wedding banquet", Jay asked.

"The both of us didn't want one. I don't want to have my privacy invaded with reporters following me around" Alicia said.

"Alright. I just hope that he treats you well otherwise I am going to ignore my love for him and have him beaten up" Zia said and they all laughed.

They all spent the whole day together before Alicia went back home.
