"May I come in sir", Veronica said standing by Nathans office door.
"Come on in", Nathan replied stopping what he was doing. Veronica entered the office and looked carefully at the faces of her boss and his Secretary.
"You called for me sir",
"Yes I did Miss Dallas", Nathan said and faced Ryan
"Give her the documents", Veronica shakily collected the documents and the fear in her heart finally became reality when she saw the contents
"Sir I...", she stammered on the verge of breaking into tears
"Do you understand what's inside those documents miss Dallas", Nathan narrowed his eyes at the woman in front of him.
"Yes sir, I do" Veronica answered bowing her head
"Care to explain why you did it", Nathan asked her
"I am sorry sir, I really didn't mean for it to turn out that way. I swear",
"Explain why you did it. Infact let me make it easier for you"
"Someone asked you to do it", Nathan said and Veronica raised her head look at him in shock
"Sir how..."
"How I found out is none of your business, all I want to know is who asked you to do it and why", Nathan asked glaring dangerously at the woman in front of him.
"I will tell you who it is sir cause I think you deserve to know", "It's Nari, Nari Lionels", Veronica said and Nathan looked at her shocked while Ryan had his mouth wide open
"When did that woman come back and does Sir know about it" he thought looking at his boss
"Do you know what you are saying Miss Dallas, how did you know Nari Lionels", Nathan asked
"Nari has been my best friend for more than fifteen years and she was the one that told me to help her start the fire, she only wanted it to huge enough to make you go to France and not to harm anyone", Veronica said to Nathan trying to decipher any change in his emotions but she couldn't get any.
"You know about everything that happened between Nari and me", Nathan asked
"Yes I do but its not in my rights to tell you why Nari is so hellbent on destroying you all I can tell you is that she is doing it for revenge"
"Then do you know why she wanted me to go to France "I don't know the real reason since she never told me but I think she wanted to distract you", Veronica replied looking straight at her boss.
"Distract me"
"Yes",
"Okay let's assume that's what happened. Do you know you could be jailed for the problems you caused the company", Nathan told her
"Yes sir I do" Veronica replied getting scared, this was what she was most afraid of.
"Please give me any other punishment sir, but I can't go to jail I am a single mother with three year old twins sir, there is no one to take care of my children if I go to jail. I beg you sir", Veronica begged on her knees.
"You should have thought of your kids before you did it Miss Dallas", Nathan said looking expressionlessly at the crying woman
"I know sir and I am so sorry. I regretted it the moment I found out about the casualties it caused", Veronica added.
"When was the last time you spoke to Nari", Nathan asked resting his chin on his hand. Veronica raised her head up to look at him then answered
"Just thirty minutes ago", Veronica replied and Nathan squinted his eyes
"Oh I see and what did she say", Nathan asked
"I think she wanted me to do something for her but I refused before she could tell me what she wants", Veronica replied
"I won't send you to Jail Miss Dallas but you are fired and if I ever find out that you are working with Nari to create any more problems for me, then be prepared for the worst", Nathan threatened, Veronica wiped her tears and stood up then bowed in front of Nathan
"Thank you sir", she said gratefully.
"Don't worry you won't be blacklisted by Lance Inc so you can look for work somewhere else. You may leave", Nathan said and continued what he was doing.
"Thank you sir, thank you very much", Veronica Dallas said and left his office and hour later she vacated all her things from Lance Inc and left the building.
"Ryan you couldn't access any information regarding Nari right", Nathan asked his assistant after Veronica Dallas left.
"Yes sir, all informations about her were blocked it was obvious the person behind it doesn't want anyone to find out anything about her", Ryan replied.
"Okay, you may leave", Nathan said and Ryan left his office.
"Revenge, about what", Nathan thought silently to himself.

"Zia why did you call me so urgently, we have so many arrangements to make for the annual exhibition", Alicia said entering her friends room. She was making her designs at home when she got a call from Zia for her to come urgently, and she came to her house as soon as possible.
"I am in trouble Alicia", Zia said pulling her best friend to sit in front of her.
"What trouble Zia speak clearly", Alicia held her friend's hands she was getting scared.
"I..., I am..., I am pregnant", Zia dropped the bomb and Alicia felt something struck her, she stood up from the bed rubbing her forehead.
"You are what Zia, PREGNANT", "How did it happen"
"Did you guys do it without protection", Alicia asked sitting back in front of her friend
"It was only once Alicia and that was two months ago when Justin came back from his trip", Zia replied
"How did you find out", Alicia asked again
"I have missed my period for two consecutive months and I feel hungry and sleepy a lot lately", "I told Nanny Wang about it and she joked that I might be pregnant. I took the pregnancy test and it was positive I even went to the hospital today for confirmation and it was the same. I don't know what to do Alicia", Zia said bursting into tears.
"Relax Zia", Alicia told her friend and hugged her
"Does my brother know", Alicia asked.
"No, he doesn't. I already called and told him to come here after work but I don't know how he is going to react Alicia, I am so scared",
"Just relax Zia, everything is gonna be alright uhm"
"Do you want to abort it", Alicia asked her
"No, Alicia I won't be able to forgive myself if I kill my own child. No I won't abort it, never", Zia said frantically shaking her head.
"But you are just 20 years old Zia can you take on this responsibility",
"I will learn along the way Alicia" Zia said crying
"And I will be here with you on that journey, you will be fine don't worry", Alicia said and hugged her friend tighter. In the midst of their hug Justin entered the room.
"Baby where you missing me. I got you..." he was saying when he saw the two women sitting on the bed hugging with one in tears.
"Pumpkin you are here", "Baby what happened why are you crying", Justin dropped the things in his hands and moved towards the two women.
"You both have to talk, I will be downstairs", Alicia stood up and walked out of the room locking the door behind her.
"What is it baby, why are you crying", Justin asked wiping Zia's tears.
"I am... I am pregnant Justin" Zia said and Justin was stunned
"Pregnant" he said and Zia nodded
"Was it made that night to two months ago", he asked and Zia nodded again
"Is that why you are crying", he asked
"Yes shouldn't I be, we are still so young Justin I am 20 and you are 23",
"And together we are 43", Justin replied smiling
"And we are not even married", Zia said
"Let's go get our certificates right now before the Civil Bureau closes", Justin replied again.
"And we have no experience",
"No first time parents have experience baby, we will learn along the way", Justin replied again
"And we didn't plan this"
"And now that it has happened we will include it in our plans. I have a decent Job and my family is very wealthy, my parents will also help us, so we will naturally be fine", Justin replied again.
"We will be okay baby, relax. And I will be right here by your side through it all", Justin said and Zia laughed hugging him tightly.

"Let's go, we will get our certificates today then go tell my parents tonight, uhmm",Justin said and Zia nodded.
