It was 12 o clock in the noon when Operation Squad members assembled. Renneth and Blake were being held hostage by then assigned Ops Guard. Everyone but Lionel and Mark were present. Parker was trying her way to interrogate but they didn't speak much.
"Gosh they aren't opening their mouths." Erik said getting impatient.
"Yes." Aaron said in an irritated tone.
"Lets wait for Captain. We'll see whether they'll open up to him or not." Jacob said.
Lionel in his Shirogane suit, along with Mark arrived arrived in the scene.
"Did they speak anything?" Mark asked.
"Not a single word." Parker replied panting, "Why don't you both try? You both are Shiroganes after all."
"We'll speak to no one but Captain." Renneth said. Lionel went in front.
"Speak." Lionel said in a heavy voice, the voice he speak in while he rescued Madelyn when she was a child, as well as, when he tossed Trent.
"You were late. I guess you aren't that much exact as they say." Blake said.
"What do you mean?" Parker asked.
"You think we were held captive?" Renneth asked.
"You're a fool." Blake said laughing.
"Uh Captain, I hate to interrupt you but the radar that shows Tyrant activity shows a heavy Tyrant activity around." Mark informed.
Lionel signaled Mark to hand him the radar. Renneth and Blake started laughing.
"All welcome the Father." Renneth said.
"He himself has come to greet you humans. You all annoyed him so much." Blake said.
A wave of panic spread between the members of Operation Squad.
"Father himself arrived." Erik said in horror.
"What are gonna do?" Jacob asked with slight hint of fear.
"Parker and team, stay here and keep an eye on them. Lionel, Mark and remaining soldiers, lets give their Father a warm welcome." Emmett ordered.
"Why leaving us behind?" Parker asked.
"As its an order given to you all by your Commander." Emmett said, "Everyone lets deploy. Today we will end the Tyrant, or we'll get being ended."
"Here, have this. Use it in in-case situation." Lionel said while passing his S-Bomb Gun to Parker.
Emmett, Lionel and other soldiers left leaving Parker and team behind.
The Tech City has a debris of many destroyed structures. Approaching to them was a huge army of Gigantic Tyrants, led by the Father, a Minotaur, with a huge 2 headed axe.
The Tyrants were marching towards the Ops through a lot distance. On the other hand, soldiers were mentally preparing for a war that's about to come. They all came here, not much armed so they were panicking.
Emmett called Lionel to discuss something.
"You called?" Lionel asked.
"Yes. We need to discuss few important things." Emmett replied.
"Yes?" Lionel asked.
"You know this scenario." Emmett begun looking towards the approaching army of Tyrants, "This is the same as my great great grandfather experienced.
He was the reason the Operation Squad exists."
"What do you mean?" Lionel asked.
"Years ago when the Tyrants stroke for the first time, no one was able to stop them. My Forefather formed a group, known as League of Protectors. They were a group of specially trained ninjas of the Shiba Clan who fought and successfully evaded the first wave of Tyrant attack.
When the League was being awarded for their bravery, Forefather advised to create a team who would specialize in facing them, since the next wave would have been a great issue.
If you remember, before your recruitment, that wave was the last wave appeared before a sudden attack occurred in the outskirt village."
Lionel nodded.
"That time we were amidst a fight with the Tyrants. If you remember, the Operation Squad was new then."
"Yes." Lionel replied.
"I was the Deputy Commander in the Army then. I again proposed to make a team just like my Forefather said. The army tried their way to face the Tyrants, failed, like I said, so later, I again proposed to create a team. Hence, the Operation Squad, with me being the Commander, being the descendant of my Forefather."
"I see, but why are you telling me this now?" Lionel asked.
"You see, I clearly understand that I and these soldiers may not return today after this battle, and I know about your habit of collecting IDs of the deceased soldiers from the office. I know you feel responsible for their death, and after today, you will feel more burdened when you'll be the only survivor after this war." Emmett replied.
"How you know that?" Lionel asked.
"The plan I made needs you to live. I know about your obsession with death, but you need to live. For the sake of Humanity, for the sake of future, for us. You have to live." Emmett replied.
Emmett took out a recorder from his pocket and turned it on.
"I, Commander Emmett Grey, would like to propose that after our death, Deputy Commander Hazel Parker would take Command of the Operation Squad, assisted by a new Deputy Commisioner, Aaron Prince." Emmett turns the recorder off.
"Parker is understandable, why Aaron?" Lionel asked.
"The kid has a great potential, his wit and ability to adapt to situation to help us engage in battles is a must. We will need him." Emmett replied.
"Well, if you chose him, you must have a reason. I respect it." Lionel replied.
"Alright, lets assemble the soldiers and head into the battle. Lets end the Tyrants, for once and for all." Emmett said.
Lionel saluted Emmett.
"Soldiers! Today we unite to stand as a last hope, a boundary wall between Tyrants and Humans. All this time, the Tyrants invaded human colonies, destructing many lives and properties, including our loved ones.
Today, we shall sacrifice ourselves so they strive." Emmett addressed to his soldiers.
"What does the Commander mean?" one of the soldiers said in panic.
"Today, we'll be using two cards. A visible one, and a hidden one.
Visible one would be us. We will go in the battlefield and take down every Tyrant possible. If not, at least create a distraction or opening for our hidden card to work.
The Hidden Card would be Captain Ambrose. He will go in stealthily, taking down every Tyrant possible.
My Soldiers! This would be the last time we fight, and I know you all are strong enough to face them. If you all do well, we may even survive. So are you all coming!?"
"Yes Sir!" Soldiers screamed in unison.
"Are you all coming!?" Emmett screamed again.
"Yes sir!" Soldiers screamed again.
"Lets go!" Emmett signaled to charge towards the approaching army of Tyrants.
"All the best Emmett. Try not to die soon." Lionel said to Emmett. Emmett nodded and left.
Meanwhile with Parker and Team
"Do you think Commander's decision was right?" Naomi asked Parker.
"I don't know. All we can do is trust him." Parker replied.
"I don't know why but I am having a bad feeling about this." Madelyn said to herself which Parker heard.
"Me too." Parker said.
"Looks like Operation Squad is going to die today." Renneth said laughing.
"You're right. After all they have been a nuisance enough for catching the attention of Father." Blake said grinning.
"Sadly, they don't know we have been leaking all the information to the Father. He knows everyone's abilities and weaknesses." Renneth said.
"I highly doubt of survival of even one soldier." Blake said laughing.
"The only one to die of us is you two." Erik said in an irritated tone.
"Ah! Erik Spencer, A.K.A Agent Lycan. You are a shifter. You should join us in this battle and I'm sure Father will guarantee a great position in the hierarchy." Renneth said.
"No thank you." Erik replied.
"Now get ready to die." Jacob said.
"You think we'll die today?" Blake said, and both Renneth and Blake started laughing.
"Erik Spencer, do you know that we Tyrants can control the rate of healing?" Renneth said catching his breath.
"What do you mean?" Erik asked.
"It means you all are doomed." Blake said and suddenly regenerated his limbs and started growing in size.
"Now you get ready to die." Renneth said and regenerated his limbs and started growing in size.
"What the-" Jacob gasped.
"They are transforming." Ciaran screamed.
"Gosh!" Madelyn grunted.
