Chapter 62

Trishanna rubbed her belly, sighing as the last of the sweet treat went down her throat. Leaning back she closed her eyes. Is this what heaven is like? She felt warm and cold at the same time. The cold from the snack she just had, but the warmth came from the bodies of the two men next to her. They sat in one of the booths after the ugly teen departed. James, then Trishanna with Bradley at the end, They didn't want anything to happen to her, so their instinct to protect, naturally kicked in.

Trishanna opened one eye and peeped at James, "So, what's next?" She didn't want to go back home as yet, but she also didn't want to risk upsetting him by asking him to stay. This was already more than what she ever hoped for. James picked up her hand and held it between both of his. It was so small, and he only wanted to make her happy. "Do you want to walk around for a bit?" he asked, "I mean if you're not too tired." Trishanna squealed and hugged him. "I would love that." Bradley brushed her hair from her shoulders, "Then let's go", he got out and helped her to her feet. "I haven't been able to do much sightseeing myself, so it's a win-win for everyone."

They strode around window shopping, both men taking note of items that caught her attention. They stopped in front of a baby store and all three knew they had to go in. They spent almost an hour ooohing and aaahing over every cute and cuddly thing in there. From the tiny shoes to the cute one-zees, they seemed to have a bad case of baby fever. While the men looked at car seats, debating the safety features, the saleswoman honed in on Trishanna who was looking at the tiny socks. "It's so nice that your brothers came with you." Trishanna's head snapped up at that statement. Looking at the woman, she could see the way she licked her red lips at her two men, lust evident in her eyes.

"No, they're not my brothers." Trishanna gritted between her teeth, jealously raring its green head once again. What's with the people in this town? Tishanna straightened her spine, glaring at the woman who didn't take her eyes off of what was hers. "No, they're my baby's fathers." At her confession, the saleswoman, Shelly her name tag said, spun to look at her, unbelief on her face.

"Fathers? Both of them?" Trishanna nodded and stalked off, no longer finding the store to be as interesting as before. Lacing her hands in theirs, she turned toward Bradley and kissed him on his cheek, turning to do the same to James. Squeezing their hands, she spoke loudly, "Come on, I don't think the stuff in here is good enough for OUR baby." She walked out, head held high, and took her two men with her, passing by Shelly. The stupefied woman grabbed Bradley's hand, not believing that both of them were not available. Shelly squeezed Bradley's arm between her silicone mounds. Before she could say anything to entice him, he snatched his arm away as if it burned.

"As our woman said, this store is inferior and now we can see why." With a disgusted look, he turned and placed his other arm over Trishanna, kissing her temple. He could feel the growl rumbling in her chest and hid his smirk in her brown curls. They left the store, Trishanna having no more desire to stay in the town. James, still holding her hand, led them back to his car. Helping her in, both men looked at each other and smiled. It was nice to see that she hated the idea of anyone else touching them.

They made their way back to Bloodmoon, Trishanna stomping up the stairs and slamming her door. Richard passed and asked, "What's the matter with the Luna?" James and Bradley looked at each other and laughed. Richard looked at the both of them confused. Didn't they want to rip each other to shreds a few days ago? Shaking his head, he left as there was no sense of danger or blood lust. Is this the power of finding your mate? Maybe he should look for his?

James clapped his hand on Bradley's shoulder. "I think you should go to soothe Trishanna before she sneaks out and burns that shop to the ground." James nodded and bounded up the stairs two at a time. He couldn't help smiling at the way she claimed them as hers. He frowned a bit. He wasn't sure when things changed, but it was clear that he no longer felt the immense jealousy and hatred for James. Sure, he was still pissed at what he did to his mate, but that was tempered and he could see that he truly cared about her.

He knocked at her door and after a short pause, he opened it. Stepping in gingerly, he dodged a flying pillow aimed at his head. He ducked and it bounced off the wall next to him. His little one was pissed. "Baby, what's wrong?" Trishanna spun around and glared at him, and the arm that Sally touched. Without a word, she pointed to her bathroom. The stench of Shelly's cheap ass perfume made Trishanna mad all over again and she would not tolerate any conversation with that smell on her mate. James chuckled and made his way to the bathroom, stripping on the way. She grabbed up his clothes as soon as the shower came on and tossed them out of her room. Thankfully, someone was passing and she thrust it into their hands, asking them to bring a new outfit from Bradley's room.

When the shower turned off and he stepped into her room clad only in a towel wrapped dangerously low on his hips, Trishanna felt a wave of desire and possessiveness roll through her. She charged towards him, determined to let the world know who he belonged to.
