The Tian Delicacies Restaurant was located near the imperial palace and was one of the oldest buildings in the city. In decades past it had been a brothel, but Tian had taken it over and turned it into the most famous and high-society restaurant in Blossom City. The yellow brick establishment rose up three stories under a red tiled roof, a three-sided building that formed a u-shape that surrounded the famous fountain which sprayed water from an underground spring and was filled with koi fish and lotus blossoms. The fountain gardens flowed out through the open end of the building into lawns, surrounded by an old wall draped with wisteria. The effect it created was of being a world away from the rest of the bustling city. To add to this illusion, private dining rooms all faced toward the fountain but were shaded by billowy semi-opaque curtains to ensure the diners' privacy.
