Chapter 79 - Demigod

Genta was still on her knees before the throne of the supreme god of death, tied up by Shinotsuru's vines.

She had just listened to his long and terrifying speech about the fate of all mankind shortly, and she wished it were any different, but it wasn't.

Though she had more questions in her mind, she couldn't bring herself to ask anymore, as she feared she would get another terrifying speech from him.

As he sat on his throne, he said to her, "I suppose you might be wondering what all this has to do with your capture." He said to her, "If we are only after the destruction of mankind, then why bother capturing you?" Right?"

Genta looked at him, trying to feign indifference to what he had just said, even though it was quite apparent that she was in awe of how it seemed like he had just read her mind.

"You see, young woman," he said to her, "this reason is that you are not like every other human being." "You are special."
