This is my second novel, so I'm still a relatively new writer, therefore my world-building, pacing and plot twists are not the best, but it gets better with time. It is set in a fairly medieval world, with magical beasts, ancient gods and entities. You could call it "a not-so-average Isekai," if you will. 

It is NOT a harem, and it contains very little to no R18 scenes.

The MC goes through hell at the beginning, and so becomes a bit of a selfish egghead because of it, but later grows to become a selfless hero. 

He grows from slaying elves and goblins to battling gods and monsters. So I guess it qualifies as a "weak2strong."

Kazuya opened his eyes, hearing another familiar voice calling out his name, but as the voice became clearer, it was revealed to be his mother's.


"Mommy! "He's opening his eyes!" Kanako said with joy.


"Orihime?" Kazuya called out in a weak whisper as his eyes widened.


"Orihime?" repeated Kanako after her brother as she looked at their mother. "Who is Orihime?"


"Kazuya, it is your mother," Kaori said to him as it became clear that it was his mother who was talking to him. 


"Oh, mom," Kazuya said as he struggled to get up, still feeling his head ache like hell.


"My head hurts," Kazuya complained, and Kaori looked at Kanako.


"Get to the table in my room and bring me some aspirin from the drawer," Kaori instructed his little sister, and she went off to do as she was told.


"You just collapsed and fainted," Kaori said to Kazuya, looking back at him, "what is the matter with you?"
