Pressures From Everywhere

After the attack from the metal birds, another wave of assaults began, coming one after another—first more metal birds, then Ogres, and finally, Daemons.

The Elves managed to defeat each wave, but doing so required them to continuously expend their Magic and physical strength. In the end, with the relentless attacks coming one after another, fatigue began to set in.

The small-scale assaults stretched on for hours, wave after wave attacking from different directions. As the sun began to set and dusk arrived, more and more enemy corpses piled up around the palace.

The Magic barrier still stood firm, its shimmering dome shielding them from harm. So far, no attack had been strong enough to strain its defenses.

The archers and warriors continued their relentless counterattacks, ensuring that no enemy got too close. The soldiers fought directly on the ground, cutting down the advancing forces, while the archers fired upon the metal birds in the sky.
