CHAPTER 203: The Apology Of A Father

Aella blinked her eyes slowly as her body regained consciousness bit by bit. She looked up to see the dimly lit room.

The first thing she saw was a pair of golden eyes staring down at her. She could see his mouth moving but she didn't hear anything.

Breathing out in relief, she was thankful she had left the awful dream.

"Aella," his deep voice rang in her ears which made her feel relaxed that he was fine.

"Aella!! Aella, are you awake?" her mother rushed to her side.

Aella could see that her mother's eyes were red-rimmed but she didn't know why she had been crying.

"M-" she tried to speak but her throat felt too dry.

"Here," Bane brought a glass of water to her lips and helped her drink.

"I will go and call Durell. Please take care of her," her mother said before she rushed out of the room.
