"Dr.Michael?" called Victor as they all reached the department room. "Hey! I came to meet Dr. Gianna. Is she busy?" "She is resting now. I will pass on your message to her later, Dr.Michael." "It's okay. Is she alright?" Dr.Michael is known for his polite character and has always been so kind to others, so naturally, the team didn't feel any averse toward him. "She will be fine after a good rest, Dr.Michael," said Victor with a faint smile. Michael smiled in return and walked away.
"Should I go check with Dr.G? She didn't have lunch," asked Alice looking at Victor. They all entered the department room, and Victor noticed that it was already half past three pm. "You go wake up, Dr.G. We will order food by then." Alice nodded and walked towards the resting room.
"How did you control yourself, Dr.Ralph? How can Dr.Kristen behave like that?!" asked Stanley as he surfed his phone. "My mind went blank for a minute there. I thought Dr.G would fall on that rod and the patient would be in a life-threatening situation. We all stood frozen at the sight of her falling," said Ralph as he removed his coat.
"But, Dr.G's reflex is incredible. The way she forced her body to turn away! No words. Every day there is something to learn from her." "I feel she is like Pandora's box. The more we get to know her, the more complicated it is!" commented Victor. Ralph and Stanley liked the comparison of Dr.G and Pandora's box and chuckled. "Still, I can't believe Dr.Kristen is the same person Dr.G praised! She turned out to be a dirt bag in the end." Stanley said in a disappointed tone. "Dirt bag. Nice name." Victor chuckled.
In the Visconti base, "Are you all prepared?" asked Rick in a raised voice. "Yes, captain." shouted the men in chorus. Rick nodded his head and checked the guns placed on the table. "Don't use guns until it is necessary. Stay focused and return with the package." "Yes, captain." Rick glanced at Ben and said, "Stay alert!" Ben nodded and checked the connections with the earpieces. Rick made sure everything was in order and left for his room.
"Wear your bulletproof vests and make sure you all come back safely," said Derrick. "Yes, boss." said the men in chorus. "This is an important mission. If you all don't want to die in the hands of the CAPTAIN, then let's make it successful." The men looked at each other and nodded in unison. The group dispersed, and all went for a coffee break. "It's better to die in the hands of Ellerbrocks than the Night devil." "Only by thinking of it makes my knees go weak!" The men feared Rick and were determined to complete the mission at the cost of their life.
The Ellerbrock base was bustling with many men in black combat costumes. "Load the packages safely. There should be no spillage." "Yes, captain." shouted the men in chorus. The captains were soon summoned by Mr. Ellerbrock to the office.
"You should not let your guards down and keep checking for activity. If you notice even a slight movement, notify the backup immediately," said Mr. Ellerbrock to the team captains. "Yes, master." The team captains went to check with the loading. "The Visconties are fools. Derrick still thinks we had burnt all their goods," said Noah with a smirk.
"Derrick may not be smart, but what about the real owner of the goods?" asked Mr. Ellerbrock before sipping his coffee. "You mean that Night Devil? I think it's all bluffing, just to intimidate us, Mr. Ellerbrock." Mr. Ellerbrock didn't respond, but a mysterious smile appeared on his face. "Make sure everything goes smoothly," said Mr. Ellerbrock before leaving the base. Noah noticed the mysterious smile and thought, 'Does Mr. Ellerbrock believe all that nonsense about Night Devil? No way! He would know better.'
Back in the hospital, "Dr.G, why don't you take a scan?" asked Stanley. "I am good. If I rest some more, my headache will be gone!" said Gianna. The team was having their coffee as they had their lunch late. They all heard a few knocks and looked toward the door. Dr.Jason entered the room and asked, "Good evening. Why don't you go home and take a rest, Dr. Gianna? I will join them with the rounds." Gianna looked at Jason and said, "Thank you for the offer, Dr.Jason, but I will handle it. You would be tired after the surgery. Why don't you take a rest? "
Jason couldn't differentiate whether she was grateful or sarcastic. "Are you sure?" asked Dr.Jason. Gianna nodded and signaled the team to get ready for the rounds. Dr.Jason didn't stand there any longer and left while the team left for the rounds.
Once again, Dr.G was the talk of the hospital. And, of course, all her patients were well informed about the incident. "Dr.G! Why didn't you take a rest?" asked a patient. Gianna was confused and looked at Ralph. "The whole hospital knows about the incident from the morning," whispered Ralph. Gianna smiled at the patient and said, "I am doing good. Don't worry about me. Are you eating your meals properly?"
"I saw what happened, Dr.G. We are all going to file a complaint against that crazy doctor. How dare she speak nonsense about you?" said Rob, one of the patient's guardians. Gianna looked at him in shock. "You all are here to recover and not create a scene. I know you are all genuinely worried about me, and I will always be grateful for that, but I want my patients to stay out of trouble. I will handle the matter in my way. Don't you all trust me?" Everyone in the room decided to leave the matter in her hands and nodded in unison.
Gianna smiled and continued with her examination. "Dr.G!" Rob called out her name when she was about to leave the ward. "What did you whisper to that Dr.Devil?"
Gianna looked at him with a mysterious smile and said, "THE TRUTH."
