PREFACE

[[Author note: I advise the readers to read the beginning of the chapters that sets a few principles of the world, you can always skip the rest if you want as it just explains the situation of the death of the main character before beginning his new life.]]

The God of Creation created a space called the void, then to fill it he created a new space called chaos and added matter and constraints. He named the constraints he had used to shape reality, the laws of reality. These laws reshaped the chaos, as a result life, planets and stars were created.

One of the five primordial laws of reality states that there is no true end, but only states. This law is known as the cycle law, it is absolute and cannot be broken.

Life is no exception, it also follows the cycle law. The end of life is not a true end, it's only the beginning of death. But what happens after death?

Does death escape this law of reality? Is it the true end? Or does something new start?

Death is only a state, and it is not a frozen one, it can be changed. It is also a force that ensures that souls of the dead don't come back to life, it's an opposite force to the cycle law.

The cycle law may be absolute, but death is not easily defiled. For the cycle law to manifest, one must have a powerful will to live that doesn't weaken against whatever trial comes before him.

All souls of those that attempt reincarnation and fight Death will have to face a pain that can't even be explained with words or compared to any over kind of suffering, it's what can be called absolute suffering.

The soul is crushed by the invisible force that is Death, the closer the souls get to the gates of reincarnation the more the force increases and the more pain becomes unbearable.

Only the souls of those that can accomplish the trial of reincarnation and reach the end of the path can break free from the influence of Death. It is only then that the cycle law can exercise itself on the soul and that it can be reborn into the mortal world.

Oliver Anderson was a normal office employee in a big law firm, he had no private life or family as he was an orphan and was a very shut in person. He always had to do extra hours to finish the enormous workload that was impossible to achieve in the working hours.

His life only served the big capitalist and the already rich and even though he had a good salary he didn't have the time to spend it as he was basically a corporate slave.

His life only resumed into him accomplishing the workload a two and coming back home at midnight after finishing it. It seemed he was in a loop where his boring life repeated itself day after day.

Today was the first day of his more than well-earned holidays, he had taken a 5 day holiday in Australia. Oliver followed his usual morning routine, he showered, dressed up and went to the coffee shop, took a croissant and a cappuccino, he then took a taxi to the John F.Kennedy International Airport.

Oliver had been waiting one hour on the boarding platform for one of the plane attendants to begin the passengers boarding. The plane had been delayed because of strong storms on the path of the plane. The first class passenger boarding finally started, he was one of the first to take a seat in the first class comfortable seats.

For his holidays he had decided to go all out and had booked first class seats on his way to Australia and for his return to the USA. Oliver had also booked a 5-star hotel in Sydney and had found a whole bunch of museums he wanted to visit. He had also found the must-do restaurant with more than 4.5 stars on the web.

The plane had been flying for about twelve hours. Oliver had fallen asleep and was having a dream where his boss was his employee and Oliver treated him even worse than he was, suddenly the voice of one of the crew members was heard over the speakerphones and Oliver woke up. The passengers were told to regain their seats and fasten their seatbelts as they were heading into a turbulence zone.

Oliver who had just woken up and was already in his seat and could not find any way to fall asleep again. He turned on his screen to monitor the position of the plane in real time and was taken aback by what he saw, ahead of the plane was a huge thunderstorm. Oliver then switched his screen to the cameras of the plane, looking at the front ones he could see the plane entering the storm.

The plane entered the storm and started shaking uncontrollably, the pilots lost control over both engines that had caught fire and the plane started a fall now directed perpendicularly to the sea. The pilots tried regaining control over the direction but couldn't because the tail had been hit by an enormous lightning bolt and was not functioning anymore. The plane had basically turned into a piece of falling junk only ten seconds after entering the storm.

As the plane fell Oliver felt as if time had slowed down. He had heard that people see their lives play out before their eyes in their final moments, but he could only see the plain rapidly heading for the sea. Thinking about it, what could he have seen? His pathetic life repeating itself like a curse? It was nothing worth seeing.

He closed his eyes and waited for his death full of regrets, the micro-seconds that followed felt like an eternity to Oliver as he waited for death. The plane then heavily collided with the sea, instantly killing every person in it, Oliver died without even having the time to move a muscle or say any last words. His soul left his body and was sent to Death.
