Chapter 13

"Thank you, butler for reminding me" Reina replied "I'll head on now" she added.

She returned first all the books she used on its proper order before she goes out in the library to eat with the Duke.

In the dining room the Duke is patiently waiting for his daughter and also the rest of them. Leonor and Liana's expression is hard to describe at the moment.

"I'm sorry I am too engrossed on my research I almost forgot the time" Reina said apologetically.

"Its fine I heard Richard gave you the deed of the land of Lisha and the key to the library" said the Duke.

"Yes father" said Reina.

"Care to tell me what you are planning to use those for" asked the Duke curiously.

"I don't have any plans as of now I'm still thinking of what to do about it. While in the library I'll have my research" Reina answered to her father.

"If you need any help just don't hesitate to ask. Just write a request to and give it to my assistant" said the Duke formally.

"I'll remember that father" Reina replied.

"Duke how about Leonor, do you have anything to give her?" said Liana tactfully.

"Regarding Leonor she can buy new trends of clothes and accessories she likes. Just say what she needs to the butler" said the Duke.

"Thank you Duke" said Liana.

Deep inside of the two mothers and daughter duo they are not satisfied with what the Duke said. But they did not show it to their face afraid that the Duke will get mad at them.

After the meal, Reina returned to her room and prepare herself to sleep. May be due to exhaustion by the time she lie down on the bed she fell asleep automatically.

In the Palace...

"Your highness the Fifth Prince is asking to meet you..." but before the servants could finish the words the Fifth Prince just barged in the Seventh Prince room.

"Leave us" said the Fifth Prince.

"But your highness….." before the servant could finish the Seventh Prince wave his hands on them.

"It's fine, leave us" said the Seventh Prince.

When the servant closed the door of the room the Fifth Prince grabbed the Seventh Prince hand and forcefully dragged him on the bed and forcefully pushes him down.

"Brother you're so alluring and beautiful just let me have a taste of you, ok" said the Fifth Prince lewdly to the Seventh Prince. He started to grouped the Seventh Prince body.

Prince Hellery felt nauseated of what the Fifth Prince did. If not for the fact that he wants to hide his ability he already killed the Fifth Prince because of his actions.

"Brother Herman, don't do this please" said the Seventh Prince.

"Brother your beauty surpasses every woman of this continent. No one will ever treat you sincerely. People will only want you as their toy to be played with so why waste time of resisting me. From the moment I saw you five years ago. I dream of this day to come" while he is talking his hands were rubbing the Seventh Prince leg. When the Seventh Prince felt his hands in between his legs his shadow guard hit the back of his neck. The Fifth Prince body collapse at the top of the Seventh Prince body.

"This pervert thinks he could do whatever he wants from me" said the Seventh Prince to himself.

"Forgive me your majesty for being late" said the shadow guard.

"Next time if you still commit this kind of recklessness your head will be the one to be severed. Do you understand?" said the Seventh Prince angrily.

"Castrate him and cut his left hand. Dare touching me with his filthy hands. Tell my servants to prepare my bath" command the Seventh Prince to his shadow guard.

"Yes your majesty" said the shadow guard. After he relay his message to the other servants he proceeds on the Fifth Prince punishment.

When the Seventh Prince is bathing he remembered what the Fifth Prince said. "Those filthy human beings who just think of him as a sex toy to be played with. Every time others look at him filled with desire or lust he felt disgusted. But the woman he met at the party who is famous for being a perverted woman who only knows how to chase the Crown Prince is different. The way she looks at him was filled with sympathy and pity. Even by the time he met her at the party she seems afraid of him. He felt amaze that there is still someone who looks at him normally" he said to himself. "Not bad as my bride candidate" he added.

After he takes a bath he called his assistant Tito, inside of his room.

"So what happened to the things I asked you to do?" asked the Seventh Prince.

"Everything is ready, only the approval from the Duke's daughter is needed" Tito answered.

"Good let's wait for the lady to ask the Emperor's approval" said the Seventh Prince.

"By the way your highness I heard that the Duke's son gifted her sister the deed of the land of Lisha. She wants her to busy herself to other things than to stress out her life here in the Kingdom" said Tito.

"Oh! What a sly fox! He wants to hide her towards other people but he didn't know the consequences of his actions. If the Lady chooses to go far away the other might become more aggressive just to obtain her" said the Seventh Prince.

"So your highness mean to say is that there is a tendency that the lady might face danger, Is that it?" Tito replied.

The Seventh Prince just smiled at him.

"May I excuse myself already your highness?" Tito asked.

"Yes you may!" the Seventh Prince replied.

"So you want to hide her huh! Not gonna happen little Duke. She is mine now" mumbled the Seventh Prince to himself. Then he drinks the wine in his glass.

In the morning the Emperor send an invitation to Reina to visit him in the Palace. Reina send a reply for approval.

"My lady you are really beautiful no matter what you wear" said all the maids who are in her room after they dress her up.

Reina just smiled, she felt really exhausted just by dressing up when she just have to visit the Palace. She never really understands the old tradition of the nobles in this ancient time.

"Miss the carriage is already outside waiting for you. Sir Alabaster will accompany you when you go in the Palace" said Ericka.

"Ok thank you for your hard work I really appreciate it very much" said Reina gratefully to her servants.

They are really happy when they heard their lady's words.

Reina was about to enter the carriage when she see Richard walking to her direction.

"Reina before you go listen very carefully, the Emperor invited you today to introduce all his sons to you. According to what I heard if you didn't give him your answer to your choice now he will decide someone for you. So think carefully while on your way to the Palace" Richard reminded her.

"What!" Reina replied astonished. "Didn't he tell me last time that I could take my time to think" Reina said with shocked.

"That is why I am telling you now, so you will be ready" said Richard seriously.

Reina smile towards his brother "Thanks brother" she said sweetly.

Richard blushed with her sister smile and turn away immediately.

"Hmmmm" Richard replied.

On her way to the Palace, Reina felt nervous because her father can't accompany him. The Emperor has task him to do something at the other office that's why she felt more nervous today. Aside from what he heard from his brother that really adds to her anxiety.

"My lady we are here already" said the coachman.

Sir Alabaster is already waiting for her to get down at the carriage.

"Ah! Ok, Thank you!" said Reina. She get down on the carriage slowly.

Sir Alabaster guides her inside the Palace. When the guards see them and identified them. They guide them to the place where the Emperor is.

According to the invitation the meeting will be held in the garden where the original owner died. Now that she is going to the familiar place inside her mind she also clearly remembered the time before she is pushed down to the water.

The Princess insults her and makes her the laughing stuff of those noble women. She also agitates her by showing her the intimacy between the Crown Prince and her stepsister Leonor. They are actually kissing behind the tree in the most secluded area in the Palace garden. The old owner of the body confronts the two. But even before she could do that the poison reacted. The two see her fall down on the ground so they decided to tossed down on the water.
