Richard just shrugged his shoulders when he heard what her sister say.
"By the way father, brother if you don't have anything else to ask may I excuse myself. I would like to rake a rest. I'm too exhausted with the Emperor's invitation." Reina said while yawning.
The Duke sigh and decided to go with his son "Ok rest well then" he added.
Reina close the door of her room and lay down on her bed.
"Now that the engagement is settled what I need to pay attention to this time is to train her body and to learn how to wield properly her power" while thinking of her next move she fell asleep.
In the middle of the night in the room beside Reina.
The Seventh Prince is wearing his robe sexily. He is drinking wine brought by the Duke's servants earlier.
"How is the thing that I ask you to do?" said the Seventh Prince while lying lazily on the bed.
"We are done with the preparation of your engagement your highness" said the shadow guard.
"Good, how about our negotiation to other kingdoms?" the Seventh Prince ask.
"It's doing well your majesty and even the Emperor of the Jabalom Kingdom is interested to your proposal regarding the distribution of the spirit stones" said the shadow guard.
The Seventh Prince smiled mysteriously.
"You can leave now. Inform me if something significant happened" the Seventh Prince added.
"Yes your highness" replied the shadow guard before he disappeared.
"Emperor of the Jabalom Kingdom, that perverted guy is really shameless. When the right time comes I will settle scores with you" he said to himself.
In the next day Reina woke up early and prepared herself she directly proceed to the library. She just instructed Ericka to bring her food.
Her father and brother are also busy that day. The Seventh Prince is resting in his room. So she has a lot of time to study about the blessings of the Wind Spirit King.
"Miss here is your breakfast before you proceed to your research" Ericka said.
"Ok, join me" the two eat while talking about trivial things about the Mansion.
"Thank you for asking me to accompany you my lady" Ericka said before she leave the library.
Reina continued to her research for the different information. Time passed by and still she didn't get anything important information about what she is looking for. She roam around inside the library and explore the hidden area where the books about the blessings of Wind Spirit King can be found. Then when she is trying to get a certain book when the other book fell beside it fell. The book is big and heavy directly fall down at her feet.
"Ugh! It hurts" Reina rub her aching feet that was hit by the book.
She look at the book on the ground beside her aching feet. Her eyes sparkle when she reads the title.
"The Secret of Wielding the Power of Spirits" is the title of the book. She excitedly grabbed it while sitting comfortably on the floor, she starts to read it.
In the book it is stated the introductions about the power of the spirits and the different guides how to wield it. It contains the techniques of using the power of spirits and tips how to master it easily.
Reina isn't aware that from the moment she opened the book a mysterious green light comes out of it in a form of spirit energy that covers the entire library. It formed a barrier in the entire library no one can enter and exit. She is too focus on reading the book that she isn't aware about the passage of time. By the time she finished her stomach growl.
By the time she closed the book she heard the call of her servant Ericka.
"Reina are you alright" said the Seventh Prince. He directly barged into the room together with the other servants and knight.
Even her father and brother are also there and the mother and daughter duo.
"Hey, what's wrong to all of you? Of course I am alright. What do you think will happen to me here in the library?" asked Reina confusedly.
"My lady aren't you hungry?" asked Ericka.
"Now that you mention it I actually felt hungry that's why I am about to go out after I tidy the books I used" she replied normally.
"My lady, how did you manage to survive these three days without eating?" asked Ericka with full of worry on her voice.
"What! What do you mean three days? You just give me breakfast earlier?" Reina replied.
"My lady what do you think is the date and year today?" Ericka said.
"Year 321 Surium day" Reina replied she secretly study the name of days and the year in order for others not to be suspicious to her.
All the people present are all shocked to her answer.
"My lady its Torium day" Ericka replied.
Reina was stunned with what she heard.
"How was it possible? After you left I just read a book and I just finished reading it" Reina said confusedly.
"Reina, are you sure you are alone here?" asked the Duke.
"Yes, why father?" Reina asked.
"This past few days we tried to enter here but it seems there is an invisible force covering the entire library. We did everything to attack it but it didn't even show of breaking for almost three days and two nights" said the Duke.
"The energy that covered the entire library is the same as the energy that covers the young miss when we are attacked in the wood" said Sir Alabaster.
All of them were stunned because they experienced firsthand the strength of the ancient Wind Spirit King.
Leonor became even more resentful "For hundreds of years no one from the Duke family manifest the blessing of the Wind Spirit King, how lucky this bitch is" she mumbled to herself while gritting her teeth.
"Mother we need to kill her before she becomes too powerful" Leonor whispered to her mother. They are far from the others so no one hears their conversation.
Liana bit her lips and clench her fist "How, how is it possible that the child of that woman surpass her child. Even when they were children, that woman Regina always surpass her. I won't let it happen this time. This time I will make sure to kill this bitch and let her daughter takes everything belonged to her" she said to herself.
"All of you are not allowed to spread anything about what happened today" warned the Duke to everyone present.
"Yes Duke" all of them replied.
"Let's go Reina" said the Seventh Prince.
"By the way little lady I have something to tell you. Follow me in my office" said the Duke.
"Ok father" Reina replied.
In the Duke's Office…..
The Duke and his son, together with Reina and the Seventh Prince are sitting together in the single sofa facing each other while they were having tea and dessert. The Duke ordered Ericka to prepare light meals to Reina for she starve for almost three days. It's not good to eat heavy meals it could lead to stomach ache and indigestion.
"Every year the Jabalom is celebrating their founding years extravagantly. The Emperor of that place loves beautiful things. Every year the Kingdom sends delegation for the celebration and the Emperor choose you as a candidate to attend the delegation and the Seventh Prince together. She is hoping for the peace talks between our countries" said the Duke.
Reina was stunned "The Jabalom Kingdom, father I thought that is our enemy country?" she asked.
"Yes it actually is our enemy country but the Kingdom is trying to make peace with them and had a business relationship with them. The Kingdom is interested with the arts and crafts and its positive development over the years, although our Kingdom is also one of those fastest growing economy some innovations are needed. He wants you to visit the said Kingdom to document your experience there" said the Duke.
"That damned old fox, he is trying to kill me with a borrowed sword. Going in an enemy country as an envoy. I am not even an official yet he is letting me do something" Reina said to himself.
"That old fox is really cunning" the Seventh Prince said with anger in his eyes.
In the novel the said celebration became bloody because of the assassin sent by the Ecclaire Kingdom to assassinate the Emperor. But the said plot failed and trigger the destruction of the Ecclaire Kingdom.
The Jabalom Kingdom is actually protected by powerful wizards. The other nations doesn't know about this. So all the nations conspire to kill its reigning monarch to obtain the said country.
In the original novel after the Foundation Celebration, the Jabalom Emperor will pressure the Ecclaire Kingdom Emperor to hand his most beautiful child to become the Emperor's bed warmer as revenged on what they did and shaming them through him.
