Chapter 3 - Americano

Well that times passed by, it's April and things have worked out good.Our income comes from the guys around the neighborhood doing all sorts of bootlegging, stealing and on rare occasion, killing.We're back at Ellies home, as we're in his swimming pool now.Me and Marvin sit on these two chairs and feel comfort at this white table.Ricky, James, Danny and Ellie are in the pool, being idiots as always.

"Watch this shit !" Says Danny as he's on top of a wall, about to jump into the pool.He jumps as I asks Marvin, "can you feel this being retirement ?" I ask as He says "no retirement is us moving out of our parents homes already…" he says as Danny comes back up and says "aye bad news boys …." As to which James replied "what is it ?" Danny plays around and says "I don't know to swim !" As he pretends he's drowning.

You see the parents situation is this, I got emancipated at 16 due to my mother not being here and my father not helping me in life.I had to start working with my uncle in a butchery.From then in I never see my parents, I know they still live in the neighborhood I just ignore them.Ricky and James parents moved to Tennessee to be free since they've turned 18 and Trust them to stay out of trouble, ironic.Danny's parents is a tricky one, His mom died when he was about 10 years old and his father was lost in yen grieve, he drank his pain away, a bit too much and now he's met her again.So Danny got sent to live with his cousins for a bit who lived in the neighborhood as well.When he turned 17, his aunt kicked him out for finding a gun in his room.Marvin still lives with his parents but they know nothing of what he does, they think he works as a air conditioning worker.Lastly Ellie, it's only his dad but he doesn't care what he does, he just doesn't want to be bothered with whatever drama he has.

So with this, you get the different types of parenting given in this world and the same results.

"I know this, when I'm 20, I'm moving out for sure, and y'all coming with me …" he says as They still continue to play in the pool.As we sit, Marvin gets a call, he excuses himself.I just look into the pool and see the boys having a good time.They all have their own little conversations around the pool as I start to zone out.I snap back into as Danny yells my name.

"What ?" I ask as he says

"This dumb fuck thinks he can beat me in a fight-" he says as they laugh as he's pointing out James.

"It's no debate here, I'd kick your ass…" he says laughingly as Ellie starts instigating.

"You gonna let him talk to you like that ? Just straight make you look like a punk ?" He says to Danny as Danny starts getting this look in his eye, a dangerous twitch.

"I mean i don't know what id do if he talked to me like that …" says Ellie more as they all laugh more.

"Alright let's go right now, your parking lot, me and You, a little friendly fight …" says Danny yo James as they both walk out the pool.Ellie and Ricky follow as Marvin walks by them,

"Where y'all going ?" He asks ad Danny replies

"Imma go kick his ass in the parking lot …"

They continue walking as Marvin shrugs it off and comes back to sit with me.

"I got us a job that could get us some good money, maybe keep us all satisfied." He says as I ask

"What is it ?"

As he's explaining it you'd get back to Danny and James in Parking lot as Ricky and Ellie.They're all still wet so it'll look goofy.At first they wrestle a bit as Danny pins him down as he starts punching at his ribs, James counters with a smack to the face.

"Oh Christ I'm sorry man, you alright ?" He ask as Danny smiles and says "I ain't here no bell bitch !" He goes back on the attack as James laughs now as they pummel each other over and over until Danny is hovering over James as James feels exhausted.

"You give up ?" He asks as James gives it a second and replies " Knock knock Danny ."

Danny is confused and asks

"Who's there ?" James smile menacingly and replies "Fuck you !" He overpowers Danny off him and they're back to standing.Danny swings and misses as James gets a shot on his chest.James Pins Danny to a brick wall as Danny elbows his back over and over as James hold his face with hand as he swings with the other at his stomach.Danny feels defenseless as he bites his fingers.

"Ah you Motherfucker !" Expresses James as Danny kicks his gut then drops him to the floor as James lays there in pain from the bite.

"I win !" He says as Ellie and Ricky celebrate.

"You bit me you son of a bitch ! " says James as Danny says

"In a fight like this, anything goes !" As James gets back on his feet.They all walk back into the pool area as Danny is gloating now.

"I didn't want to do it to him but I had too, Ellie you're gonna be next if you keep running your mouth …hehe" he says jokingly as they all walk back into the pool.By this I've heard Marvin's little plan to get us some good money, and if done right we'll be well-known around the neighborhood.

It's June 18 now, months of preparation for what's about to go down.Me and Danny are gonna cause havoc around this place to give Marvin and Ricky a chance to get the cash.

Me and Danny are in a Plymouth Road Runner, I chose the car.Danny and I are outside of a police station as we wait for 3:00 pm to hit, Any second now.Marvin and Ricky are in a white van at the other side of town, awaiting a truck filled with two million, to pass by.Where killing two birds with one stone today.We are waiting for a cop to come out and hand us an envelope.It's 3:00 pm now as right in queue the cop exits as he walks up to our car and hands it over.

"Alright thanks, you ready ?" I ask as he says

"Yea go for it …" he says as I shoot him in broad daylight in the chest.He falls over as many react, cops start to shoot back as we drive off, starting a high speed chase around the city.As in the white van, they have a duffle bag with suppressed guns and explosives.They also have a radio connects to the polices frequency.

"Alert for a Red Plymouth road runner, licensed 51ZAK47" they hear as Ricky says "alright good to go and there it is!" He says as the The truck is passing by them.They immediately get to driving as they tail it to the next light, it turns red.Meanwhile we're driving recklessly around town as we two cop cars on us so far.

"Christ we should be getting more soon …" I say as Danny says "Oh we'll get more, just shoot some rounds at em …" he says as I start to shoot, it makes one of them crash.

"Jesus Christ, I guess pigs do fly huh ?" Says Danny jokingly as they've spun out of control and Crashed out of the road.Now we've got a bigger call in as you'd go back to Marvin and Ricky.

They hear "new alert on That Red Plymouth road runner, we have men down, be advised to send back up …..they are on Garland and Winchester …." They hear as Marvin hops out the car and Ricky stays ready in the van.

Marvin puts the explosive on the hinges of the trucks backdoors as they back away.He blows it as it opens, this alerts the two Guards in the truck to exit.

"What the hell ?" He says as he aims his gun as they walk slowly to the back of the truck.Marvin had got his Suppressed SMG and shoots the guard in the feet to disable him.

The other guard sees this but is too slow to react as Marvin shoots his leg to disable him as well.

"We're not trying to kill you but I will if I have too, so just stay down …." He says as he kicks away one of the mens guns and takes the other man's away.He goes into the truck as he fills up his duffle bag, meanwhile Ricky had turned his car around as the vehicles face each other backwards.Ricky quickly opens the doors to the back of the van as Marci throws in the first duffle bag.He gets to the second bag as you'd come back to our chaotic drive.

We've gotten the attention of at least a dozen cop cars that caught us at the freeway.We go through the cars as the cops follow.We have the attention of a police helicopter on us as we enter back to our neighborhood.We make it as we drive behind the same parking lot area we beat Billy in.We are covered from the apartment buildings as we have Ellie waiting in one of the houses.We get out of the car as we have two guys take the wheel.Blocking the entrance to this parking lot is a man with his F150 blocking it.

"Get this piece of shit out the way !" Yells an officer as all the cop cars are stopped and exit as they think they got us cornered.The helicopter can't see us as I tell the two men

"Good luck to ya !" I say as the enter the car and prepare to drive themselves crash when they exit.we sprint unto the window Ellie has open as we stumbled upon a residents room.A woman steps in and says "all good ?" As Ellie's replies "yea thanks…." Ellie closes the window as we walk into the living room.We change clothes into something more casual.

Meanwhile with Marvin and Ricky, they've attracted the attention of the authority but not as much man power.They got one cop car approach as they exit and aim.Marvin finished up the last bag as he tosses into the van, still the guards are on the floor in pain.Marvin jumps into the back of the van as the cop yells "freeze !"

"Drive !" Yells Marvin as Ricky floors it.The cops shoots but misses as Ricky runs one over.They drive back to a nearby alley way as they see our friend Ron waiting with some guys.They open a garage as they say "come on drive in !" They're in as the police is slim but still look for them.

"Here !" Yells Ricky as he passes them the keys, Ricky and Marvin open the backdoors of the van and get the bags out as next to them is another car.A blue Nissan Sentra, they out the three bags in the trunk ad they also change clothes.

"Alright you two give a minute they drive off alright ?" Says Ron as Marvin and Ricky continue to change.Ron and his boys are tearing apart the van as you'd get back to our problem.

The F150 was finally moved as the Plymouth road runner drives outta nowhere and driving out of the neighborhood.The cops follow on pursuit as me and Danny come out like we're nosy neighbors

"Get those Motherfuckers officer !" Yells Danny as we laugh.Most of the police leave the neighborhood as the helicopter leaves as well.The two guys drive into a nearby alley and crash into a wall, on purpose.They perfectly get stopped and the cop get them out of the car, they get arrested.

"Hey it was all just jokes, we were joking !" Says one of them as the cops aggressively put them in the cruiser.

"You son of a bitch, get in there !" Yells a cop as they all angrily feel proud of catching the "ones" who shot one of their own in broad daylight.

All the while Marvin and Ricky drive into the neighborhood casually as they see us at Ellie's friends home.We stand at the staircase in happiness as Ricky drives into the parking lot.They do the same as the pass the duffle bags through the window Ellie's waiting at.They pass all 3 as they walk back in front to enter the home.Me, Danny, Ricky and Marvin walk in happily as we go into the room with joy.

Ellie and the girl look at the money in shock as we enter.I know you might be thinking where the hell is James through all this, he's busy talking with the cop we shot.He's went to pay him to testify that the two men that crashed the car were the same ones that shot him, make this all sealed and shut.

"We really did it…" says Danny as Marvin in excitement says

"We really fucking did it !"

We all celebrated by relaxing in Ellie's friends home, in her living room.What's yet to come hasn't been adventured yet.
