The confession

It's only a few hours until it's going to be morning. For several nights, Marco didn't sleep well; his mind was distracted. Every time he saw Gwen, he remembered the night that they shared together. They've been in the rest house for nearly a week and are still safe. There was no trace or threat from Mr. Aragon, so somehow he could breathe without fear. Everything is alright. But not when he thinks of Gwen. He's really addicted; he can't deny it. He was scared that his obsession with her would lead to pain in her heart. He never felt anything special about Gwen. Maybe it's just his body wanting her. He's here to protect Amanda, whom he has loved since the day they met. What he feels for Gwen is only out of lust and pleasure.

"Can't sleep?" Amanda asked.

He was even surprised when he heard her because he didn't think there was anyone else in the pool area. It's already five in the morning. The breeze was cold and the whole area was still quiet. No more bird song can be heard yet.
