Amanda woke up early that day. It was her twenty-fourth birthday. She hates to admit it, but she's getting older. It seems like she recently celebrated her eighteenth birthday; the memories that became very important to her, but also became a nightmare in her life, and until this day she still can’t get rid of that nightmare. They will still haunt her. They were outside, everywhere, waiting to see them. Until that day, she was still not free. The whole house was very quiet. Perhaps all those with her were still asleep. She looked at her wrist watch; it was five in the morning. That's why it's still dark everywhere. She was no longer wondering, but today she wanted to hear her mommy and daddy wish her a happy birthday. She really missed them. It's been a lot of birthdays since she wished nothing but to celebrate it with her family. Those wishes remained wishes. She was frustrated. She walked slowly until she found the light switch in the living room.
"Happy birthday, baby girl."
