SHARI was amid feeding Bami in the morning when Levi arrived. He immediately came to her and gave her a back hug. She could tell he was exhausted.

"Thank god you're here." Levi kissed her shoulder.

"What happened?" Shari asked innocently. She hoped that he wouldn't notice that she was also worn out and didn't have a decent sleep.

Shari just arrived a few minutes ago and took a quick shower since she was reeking of alcohol. After the warehouse operation, she shared a couple of drinks with Lei and Kai. Even Ling joined them. It was their way of venting their frustrations in life that, despite how small, they somehow make a difference in this cruel world, even if people regarded them as criminals.

"So many deaths. I don't want to delve into details." Levi made her turn so he could see her face. "It might trigger unhappy memories on your part." He gave her a quick peck on her lips. "Please hug me."
