TRAPPED

SHARI could hear the chaos erupting outside the house. The guards of different families targeted Kevin's crew and others they had tension with.

Shari walked towards Bien, who kept on stepping back like scared prey.

"How does it feel fearing for your own life, Bien?" Shari playfully smiled. "Now you know the feeling of being cornered and nowhere to run. Scary, isn't it?"

Bien reached the French door, which was locked. He barged the knob forcing it to open, but it would not budge.

Bien faced Shari again and tried to negotiate. "You are not a bad person, Shariah. You can't kill me."

"Oh?" her one brow raised. "Do you think so?" Shari laughed hysterically. "Will it bother you if I said I killed hundreds of wicked people… or thousands perhaps? I lost count!" She pointed her gun at him.

Bien raised both his hands. "I don't have a weapon. You shouldn't kill a defenseless man."
