CHAPTER 29

  Fiona

I still can’t believe I’m actually going to a pack house. My wolf seems happy, but I’m still not sure if they are people I can trust. I have been through so much in my life so far that I don’t know if I have the courage to try and trust someone or another pack again.

I should have been able to trust my parent’s pack, but I was sadly mistaken. They didn’t have any issues with female betas, but since I’m an omega, they thought I was cursed and would bring trouble to the pack. I have never figured out how being an omega would bring trouble to the pack, but they believe it, and that is all that matters.

I glance forward at Bridget and then Ford, who are sitting in the front seat, while I sink further down into the back seat of the vehicle.

Bridget seems really nice. I still can’t believe that she is also an omega. This is the first time I have met another omega. I almost was beginning to believe that I’m the only omega alive.
